The present invention relates to a device for applying at least one product at a desired surface, for instance a human's skin. The device comprises several layers 1-6, where an impermeable front layer (1) and an impermeable utility layer (6) together with a contact layer (2) will form the outer surfaces of the device (D), between which contact layer (2) and utility layer (6) are arranged a valve layer (3), a top layer (4) and a bottom layer (5). The top layer (4) and bottom layer (5) are connected to each other through a weld (11) in order to form a storage chamber (8) to accommodate a product. Furthermore, the valve layer (3) and top layer (4) are provided with a plurality of incisions or indentations (9a, 9b), where the incisions or indentations (9a) of the valve layer are welded to corresponding incisions or indentations (9b) of the top layer to form an opening mechanism in the device (D), where the device (D) is opened when the valve layer (3) is moved relatively to the top layer (4).
The present invention relates to a laminated pad that is used to apply a fluid, liquid or a colloidal substance in a controlled manner onto a surface, wherein the pad comprises a top and bottom layer between which top and bottom layer at least one layer is arranged, a utility layer being arranged on an outside of the bottom layer, the top layer, at least one layer, bottom layer and utility layer being connected to form a closed storage chamber for a substance that is to be contained in the pad, where at least a part of the top and bottom layer outside and around the closed storage chamber is cut off in order to create a soft edge around the periphery of the pad, where a hinged layer, the at least one layer and the utility layer are connected around their outer edges to form a laminated pad.
The present invention relates to a device for applying at least one product in a controlled manner onto a surface. The device comprises several layers, where a bottom layer and at least a storage layer are welded together during the manufacturing of the device in order to create a temporary liquid barrier in the storage layer. The temporary liquid barrier will form at least one closed chamber in the storage layer, where the purpose of the temporary liquid barrier is to delay the liquid running over the barrier after the storage layer has been filled with the liquid that is to be applied. This delay of the liquid running over the temporary liquid barrier will ensure that the rest of the different layers of the device can be joined together inside and around their outer peripheries, in order to create a liquid tight storage chamber for the product.
The present invention relates to a device for applying at least one product at a de-sired place or spot. The device comprises several layers, where an impermeable top layer (1) and an impermeable bottom layer (4) will form the outer surfaces of the device, between which two outer surfaces a storage layer (3) and a contact layer (2) are arranged. The bottom layer (4), storage layer and contact layer (2) are welded together inside their edges to form a closed storage chamber (10) for the product and further being connected (6) around their common edges, where at least a part of the bottom layer (4) outside and around the closed storage chamber (10) is cut away, in order to create a device with soft edges.
The present application relates to a laminated pad (1) that is used to apply a liquid or a colloidal substance in a controlled manner onto a surface. The laminated pad comprises at least one storage layer (4), where the storage layer when provided with through-going cuts (8) and welded to an impermeable pocket layer (5) due to its resilient characteristics, will form an upwardly standing surface in the cutting area. The upwardly standing surface will act as a brush and/or scrub or a transfer device, whereby the brush or scrub can be used to treat the surface to which a substance is to be applied, before or during the appliance of the substance.
B65D 75/00 - Packages comprising articles or materials partially or wholly enclosed in strips, sheets, blanks, tubes or webs of flexible sheet material, e.g. in folded wrappers
A61M 35/00 - Devices for applying media, e.g. remedies, on the human body
A45D 40/00 - Casings or accessories specially adapted for storing or handling solid or pasty toiletry or cosmetic substances, e.g. shaving soaps or lipsticks
The present invention relates to a disposable pad adapted to contain a product, where the product is to be applied onto a surface in a controlled manner. This is achieved by the pad being constructed of several layers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), each layer having its own properties. When the disposable pad is used it is ensured an more even and smooth application of an amount of the product to be applied. A top layer (5) is spot connected to a delivery layer (3), where the stored product cannot be delivered until the top layer (5) is ripped off and this removing causing an opening of ruptures in the delivery layer (3).
The present invention relates to a device for applying a liquid or a colloidal substance in a controlled manner onto a surface. The device comprises several layers, where the layers accommodate a storage layer containing the liquid or colloidal substance to be applied. The liquid or colloidal substance is transported to the surface of application, through a two-pieced top layer, where one piece of the top layer acts like a valve layer while the other piece acts like a applicator and distribution layer.
The present invention relates to an applicator device for liquid, cream or gel together with a method for using the applicator device. The applicator device contains an applicator pad which is supplied with the cream, liquid or gel which has to be applied and the applicator pad is enclosed in a sealed compartment which can be opened in order to put the applicator pad to use. The liquid, gel or cream contained in the applicator pad will thereby be unable to leak out or soil the holding device which is attached to the pad during transport and storage of the applicator device, before the device is put to use.
