Abstract
A fastener driving tool includes a housing unit with a fastener striking opening, a striking member with an engaging slot, a locking member with a front engaging end detachably engaged to the engaging slot, and a handle unit pivoted on the housing unit. When the handle unit is pressed down to shift the driving tool from an initial to an energy-storing state, the locking member is driven to move the striking member away from the striking opening. When the handle unit is pressed down continuously to shift the driving tool from the energy-storing to a striking state, the front engaging end is driven to disengage from the engaging slot, and the striking member is driven to move down to the striking opening for performing a striking stroke.

Abstract
A spare magazine is adapted to be installed in a stapler, and includes a casing unit, a pivot member and a sliding carrier. The pivot member is pivotally disposed in the casing unit, and has a positioning pin. The sliding carrier has a carrier body slidably received in the casing unit, and a main track portion protruding from the carrier body, and having an island block and a surrounding wall that cooperatively define a main track. The sliding carrier is slidable relative to the casing unit between a closed position and a first open position. The positioning pin of the pivot member is inserted into the main track and is slidable in the main track along a heart-shaped route during the sliding movement of the sliding carrier.

Abstract
A fastener driving tool includes a housing, a striking member, an energy storing unit and a handle unit. The energy storing unit has a torsion spring which has weighted and driving legs extending from two ends of a coil. The driving leg is biased against and engaged with the weighted leg to be preloaded with a downward potential energy that urges a downward movement of the torsion spring and the striking member. The handle unit includes a handle and an anchoring member removably engaged with the striking member. When the handle is pivotally moved from a ready position to a striking position, the weighted leg is moved downwardly and the anchoring member and the striking member are moved upwardly to gradually increase a loading of the torsion spring for the striking member.

Abstract
A fastener driving tool includes a striking member and an energy storing unit disposed in a housing. The energy storing unit has at least one torsion spring having forwardly extending short and long legs which are connected to a pivotable handle and the striking member. An anchoring member is disposed forwardly of and slidable relative to the handle and is detachably engaged with the striking member. During a pivotal movement of the handle, the short and long legs of the torsion spring are moved in opposite directions to store a biasing energy and to force the striking member upwards, which in turn moves the striking member downward for performing a fastener striking stroke once the anchoring member is disengaged from the striking member to release the torsion spring.

Abstract
A fastener driving tool includes a striking member mounted in a housing for reciprocal movement relative to a fastener striking opening, a leaf spring engaging with the striking member at an end, and having a flexible section anchored by an anchoring unit, and a press handle pivotably connected with the anchoring unit, and having an elongated guide slot in which a pivot axle is movably engaged. The press handle is pivotable from a ready position, where the anchoring unit anchors the flexible section, through an intermediate position, where the anchoring unit is moved upwardly and rearwardly to cause resilient deflection of the leaf spring and load the leaf spring with an accumulated biasing energy, to a striking position, where the anchoring unit abuts against and is counteracted upon the pivot axle or a stop peg to be disengaged from the leaf spring so as to release the biasing energy.

Abstract
An adjusting mechanism is provided for selectively setting a restoring force acting on a backrest of a chair. In a biasing unit of the adjusting mechanism, a spring segment is disposed between a head end and a follower end to bias the follower end to the remote position. The follower end is angularly movable on a cam surface between distal and proximate positions. In response to movement of a backrest of the chair from a normal position to an inclined position to permit the follower end to be forced by the cam surface to move from the remote position to a close position, two different restoring forces can be set by adjusting the follower end between the distal and proximate positions.
