Abstract

This invention relates to a connection set that is used to attach and transfer force and torque between a wing (2a, 2b), comprising a lifting surface and a control surface (9) connected together by a hinge, and the central body (1 ) of an aircraft, which contains a servo-motor (10) used for actuating said control surface (9). The wing (2a, 2b) is connected to the central body (1 ) using a connection set comprised of two components. First, an attachment mechanism (3, 4, 5, 6) is used to align the wings (2a, 2b) relative to the central body (1 ) and to transfer the aerodynamic forces acting on the wing (2a, 2b) to the central body (1 ), preventing the wing (2a, 2b) from bending at its connection point. Second, a torque coupling mechanism (7, 8) is used to actuate the control surfaces that are present on the wings using servomotors (10) that are embedded within the central body (1 ). The connection set is engaged and disengaged using a single motion and does not require additional connection of electrical cables or mechanical fixations.

Abstract

The attitude and speed of the drone are controlled by angular commands applied to a control loop (120) for controlling the engines of the drone according to the pitch and roll axes. A dynamic model of the drone, including, in particular, a Kalman predictive filter, represents the horizontal speed components of the drone on the basis of the drone mass and drag coefficients, the Euler angles of the drone relative to an absolute terrestrial reference, and the rotation of same about a vertical axis. The acceleration of the drone along the three axes and the relative speed of same in relation to the ground are measured and applied to the model as to estimate (128) the horizontal speed components of the cross wind. This estimation can be used to generate corrective commands (126) that are combined with the angular commands applied to the control loop of the drone in terms of pitch and roll.

Abstract

The method comprises: a) the emission of an ultrasound burst repeated at a predetermined recurrence frequency; and b) after each emission and for the duration of a time frame (n-1, n, n+1,...) separating two consecutive emissions, the reception of a plurality of successive signal spikes appearing in the course of the same frame. These spikes include spurious spikes (E'n-1, E'n, En+1,... ) originating from the emitter of another drone, and a useful spike (E'n-1, E'n, En+1,... ) corresponding to the distance to be estimated. To discriminate these spikes, the following steps are executed: c) for two consecutive frames, comparison of the instants of arrival of the p spikes of the current frame with the instants of arrival of the q spikes of the previous frame and determination, for each of the p.q pairs of spikes, of a corresponding relative time gap; d) application to the p.q gaps determined in step c) of a selection criterion making it possible to retain just a single spike of the current frame; and e) estimation of the distance as a function of the instant of arrival of the spike thus retained.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a system (1) of remote-controlled drones (10, 12) fitted with video cameras (14) allowing validation of the virtual firing of a transmitter drone (12) at a target drone (10) by recognition of this target drone (10) in a video image (17) provided by the camera (14) of the transmitter drone (12) during the virtual firing. These recognition means comprise a marker (15, 16) fitted to the target drone (10) and covered with two first stripes (18) of a first colour which reflects light at a wavelength of between 590 nm and 745 nm situated on either side of at least one second stripe (19, 20) of a second colour reflecting light at a wavelength of between 445 and 565 nm. It is thus possible very reliably to identify drones moving about in an open space, both outdoors and indoors, despite the very great variety of distracting details present in the background images observable by the camera.

Abstract

The invention relates to a concentrator for coupling a plurality of digital or analog sources to an audio/video reading system capable of reading one of said sources. Each of the available sources is associated with a source identifier and an identifier for indicating an activated or deactivated state after a user's action on a source. A register (42) stores an identifier of the current source being read, while a LIFO stack with multiple levels (44) stores an ordered list of identifiers of other sources in reading standby. Upon the activation of a new source, an automatic means replaces the register content with the identifier of the new source in order to replace the current source with the new source so that the system can read it, and simultaneously adds to the stack the identifier of the current source. The reverse operation is carried out upon a deactivation of the current source in order to replace the current by the last source contained in the stack and to allow the system to read the same.

Abstract

The device comprises: a circuit for gathering acoustic signals with a microphone (18); a circuit for restoring audio signals with an amplifier (30) and a loudspeaker (16); a circuit (20) for interfacing with a telephone network or a portable telephone; and a circuit for digital processing of audio signals, comprising means for reducing the acoustic echo resulting from the interaction of the loudspeaker with the microphone. These means comprise: an echo cancellation stage (40), with a linear adaptive filter able to subtract from the signal picked up by the microphone a reference signal derived from the signal received at the output of the interfacing means; a stage (42) for removing the residual echo with gain control; and a stage (44) for selectively reducing the background noise present in the signal received at the output of the echo removal stage. There is moreover provided a stage (50) for selectively reducing the background noise present upstream in the signal received at the output of the interfacing means for application to the circuit for restoring audio signals, which stage comprises means for analysing temporal coherence of the signal, which are able to determine an a priori probability of presence/absence of speech on the basis of the respective energy levels in the spectral domain, and to use this probability to estimate a noise spectrum and to derive a denoised estimate of the signal received.

Abstract

The method comprises, in the temporal domain, an echo cancellation processing (40) by subtracting from the signal picked up a reference signal delivered by an adaptive circuit for modelling the acoustic coupling between microphone (18) and loudspeaker (16). A processing for removing the residual echo (42) remaining after the echo cancellation, and a processing for reducing the noise (44) are operated in the frequency domain on successive frames of the signal. The residual echo removal processing comprises an estimation of the respective values of the power of the residual echo over a plurality frequency bands defined for successive frames of the signal, then the calculation and the application of a variable gain specific to each frequency band and to each frame, the respective gain being all the lower the higher the estimated relative power of the residual echo, for the frequency band considered, and vice versa. For each frequency band and for each frame, respective values of the power of the ambient noise present in the signal picked up are estimated a priori, and the relative levels of the power of the noise and of the power of the residual echo in the signal picked up are compared. The variable gain is dependent on the estimated relative power of the residual echo when the level of the latter is greater than that of the noise, and the estimated relative power of the noise in the converse case.
