Abstract
[Problem] To provide a dye sensitization type solar cell module with high photoelectric conversion efficiency in a range spreading from low illumination (500 lux) to high illumination (100,000 lux), even when the photoelectric conversion element has a small power generation area (300 mm2 to 600 mm2). [Solution] A dye sensitization type photoelectric conversion element that has a transparent base material, a transparent electrode layer, a porous oxide semiconductor layer that includes a photosensitized dye, an electrolyte layer, an opposing electrode and a transparent base material laminated in this order and that is characterized in that the planar shape of the porous oxide semiconductor layer that includes a photosensitized dye is a rectangle, and the area (S) of the rectangle is 300 mm2 to 600 mm2, and the ratio (L) of the long side to the short side of the rectangle is included in a region that satisfies formulas (1) and (2).

Abstract
A semiconductor layer (12) is subjected to electromagnetic waves (1) to emit electrons, the emitted electrons are collected and supplied to an object to be prevented from corrosion, the electrons (3) are returned to the semiconductor layer (12) via an electrolyte layer (14) from the object (16) to be prevented from corrosion to which the electrons (2) have been supplied, and thus an electric current is caused to flow through the object (16) to be prevented from corrosion to thereby make the potential of the object (16) to be prevented from corrosion less noble. A corrosion prevention structure (10) prevents corrosion by electrically connecting an electron supply body (13) configured by forming the semiconductor layer (12) on a support body (11) with conductivity, through which the electromagnetic waves can be transmitted, to the object (16) to be prevented from corrosion, the electron supply body (13) being electrically connected to the object (16) to be prevented from corrosion via at least the electrolyte layer (14) which is in contact with the semiconductor layer (12). Thus, a corrosion prevention method and a corrosion prevention structure, which are capable of achieving a sufficient corrosion prevention effect even when an object to be prevented from corrosion is covered with a covering layer, for example, a reinforcing bar covered with concrete, can be provided.

Abstract
Disclosed is a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element having high energy conversion efficiency, wherein the amount of iodine added into the electrolyte solution is significantly reduced. The dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element comprises a porous photoelectrode layer composed of dye-sensitized semiconductor particles, an electrolyte solution layer and a counter electrode layer in this order. The electrolyte solution layer is composed of an electrolyte solution which is obtained by dissolving 0.05-5 M of aliphatic quaternary ammonium ions, 0.05-5 M of imidazolium ions and 0.1-10 M of iodide ions in an organic solvent. Consequently, the amount of iodine added into the electrolyte solution can be significantly reduced.
