Abstract

An electromotive linear drive (10), in particular for adjusting parts of an item of furniture, having a multi-part housing (14) which is produced from plastic in an injection-molding process and in which are mounted at least one drive train and a block-shaped spindle nut (13) which engages at least partially around the housing (14) and/or at least partially into the housing, should be designed such that the structural design is extremely simple and can furthermore, for installation in particular into a chair, be produced in a compact and also cheap manner from as few components as possible. The concept on which the invention is based consists in all of the bus subscribers, which are connected via a bus device, in addition to the bus lines, being connected to an enable line and all following the inputs of one bus subscriber, which acts as the master and in which, in addition to a sequential program, also the control parameters are stored. Abstract

Disclosed is a geared motor (10) which is designed especially for driving an adjusting mechanism that is drivingly coupled thereto. Said geared motor (10) comprises a driving motor (25) and at least one gear stage for reducing the motor speed. The drive unit formed by said parts is disposed in a monolithic or multipiece housing (16, 17). The aim of the invention is to design said geared motor (10) in such a way that the drive unit overall has a simple structure and minimized dimensions while different non-self-locking drive trains can be connected thereto. Said aim is achieved by providing the drive unit with a mechanical load moment lock (21) which is effectively connected to a gear stage and is functionally coupled to an output member of a gear stage. In a preferred embodiment, the load moment lock (21) is coupled to the output member of the first gear stage (18, 19) that is connected downstream from the driving motor (25). Preferably, the load moment lock (21) is embodied as a monolithic and annular spring element.
