Abstract

Provided is a method for manufacturing a wick, which facilitates control over capillarity of the wick. A method for manufacturing a wick according to the present invention includes: a step of supplying material powder containing metal powder onto a base; a step of heating the material powder on the base to obtain a sintered compact; and a step of rolling the sintered compact. In this situation, when the material powder supplied onto the base is heated to form the sintered compact, the sheet-shaped sintered compact can be formed. Further, when the sintered compact is rolled, a void ratio of the sintered compact can be controlled after forming the sintered compact, thereby controlling the capillarity of the wick 1.

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger including an evaporating body configured to absorb heat from outside and evaporate a liquid-phase working fluid into a gas phase while moving the working fluid by capillary forces. The method includes steps of: forming a recess in a plate surface of a first plate member, the first plate member being plate-shaped; applying a powder-containing material to a predetermined region in the recess; solidifying the material applied to the predetermined region to form the evaporating body; and covering the recess having the evaporating body formed thereon with a second plate member, the second plate member being plate-shaped, and securing the first plate member to the second plate member.

Abstract

A sintered bearing is made of a sintered compact containing nickel silver (Cu—Ni—Zn) as a base. In the sintered bearing, P is not added in the sintered compact. Alternatively, a content of P in the sintered compact is less than 0.05 mass % in terms of mass ratio to a total mass. Consequently, crystal grains constituting the sintered compact can be micronized. In particular, in the sintered bearing, an average crystal particle diameter of the crystal grains constituting the sintered compact is 20 μm or less. Consequently, the mechanical strength and the vibration resisting properties can be improved, and the rotation shaft can be prevented from being damaged.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a wick manufacturing method capable of facilitating control of a capillary force of a wick. [Solution] A wick manufacturing method according to the present invention includes: a step for feeding raw material powder containing metal powder onto a base; a step for acquiring a sintered body by heating the raw material powder on the base; and a step for rolling the sintered body. Forming the sintered body by heating the raw material powder fed onto the base enables formation of a sheet-shaped sintered body. Rolling the sintered body enables the porosity of the sintered body to be controlled after the sintered body has been formed. Thus, the capillary force of a wick 1 can be controlled.

Abstract

[Problem] To improve the mechanical strength and vibration resistance of a sintered bearing and to prevent damage to the rotary shaft of the sintered bearing. [Solution] A sintered bearing 20 according to the present invention is formed of a sintered body that uses nickel silver (Cu-Ni-Zn) as a base material. In this sintered bearing 20, P is not added into the sintered body, or alternatively, the P content in the sintered body is less than 0.05% by mass in terms of the mass ratio to the total mass. Consequently, crystal grains constituting the sintered body can be miniaturized. Specifically, the average crystal grain size of the crystal grains that constitute the sintered body in this sintered bearing 20 is 20 μm or less. Consequently, it is possible to improve the mechanical strength and vibration resistance, while preventing damage to the rotary shaft.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide an electrode material for a fuel cell used as a fuel electrode catalyst layer or an air electrode catalyst layer in which a platinum-group element is not used, and a method for manufacturing the electrode material. [Solution] The electrode materials 2, 3 for a fuel cell according to an embodiment comprise a compact that does not contain a platinum-group element and that has Fe as the main component, the compact containing at least Fe and a plurality of different 3d transition metals as metal materials. The compact comprises a mixture including a powder of each of the metal materials, and has voids dispersed in the compact so that hydrogen and oxygen used in a fuel cell 1 are able to penetrate the compact.

Abstract

[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to achieve high speed molding of compacts and molding of compacts of arbitrary shapes by providing a mold lubricating oil that has excellent quick-drying properties and can form an even, uniform oil film with the coating of a small amount thereof, a spray coating device, and a compact molding apparatus. [Solution] The present invention pertains to a mold lubricating oil that includes a C7–18 hydrocarbon solvent and an oiliness agent or an extreme pressure agent. The present invention is preferably a mold lubricating oil in which the content of the hydrocarbon solvent is 50–98 mass%.

Abstract

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a silicone-based lubricant composition wherein excellent rust prevention can be exhibited by stably dispersing a rust inhibitor in a silicone oil that has excellent thermostability, oxidation stability, and a high index of viscosity, and a sintered oil-containing bearing impregnated therewith. [Solution] This silicone-based lubricant composition comprises 90.0 to 99.4 mass% of silicone oil with a kinematic viscosity of 20 to 1000 mm2/s at 25°C, 0.1 to 5.0 mass% of a mixture of one or more types of silica gel with a primary particle average size of 30 nm or less, and 0.5 to 5.0 mass% of a mixture of one or more types of rust inhibitor.

Abstract

4) membrane on a porous surface of an inner surface or on porous surfaces of an inner surface and both end surfaces. Thus, gaps between particles become small because diameters of the particles of material powder of a powder sintered bearing material are approximately even and fine and are even small pores. As a result, sealing pores on the surface due to steam treatment is easy, and dynamic pressure cannot be leaked.
