Abstract

Provided is a thin-film swirling-type stirring device, wherein a side surface of a cylindrical portion is constituted of: a first region demarcated into a band shape in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical portion, the first region having formed therein a plurality of holes penetrating in an inward/outward direction; and a second region demarcated into a band shape in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical portion, the second region having formed therein a plurality of holes, which penetrate in the inward/outward direction, so as to have a smaller aperture ratio than that of the first region, or the second region being configured or so as to not have holes formed therein. The first region is disposed in a portion including the center in the height direction of the cylindrical portion, and the second region is disposed from an upper end of the first region to an upper end of the cylindrical portion and from a lower end of the first region to a lower end of the cylindrical portion. When the width of the first region is denoted by Wp and the total height of a rotation member is denoted by H, the relationship 0 < Wp < 0.5H is satisfied.

Abstract

This stirring device is provided with a container for accommodating a stirred substance, and a rotating member that rotates on the inner side of an inner wall surface of the container. During operation of the stirring device, the stirred substance is present in the form of a film between the rotating member and the inner wall surface and is stirred. Recesses/protrusions are formed from grooves, dimples, or projections arrayed at prescribed intervals on the rotating member and/or the inner wall surface of the container. The container has a first introduction opening for introducing a powder component that constitutes part of the stirred substance, a second introduction opening through which is introduced a liquid-containing component that constitutes part of the stirred substance, and a discharge opening for discharging a mixed stirred substance in which the powder component and the liquid-containing component are mixed.

Abstract

Provided is a stirring blade that is used for a stirring device and rotated about a predetermined axis. The stirring blade is provided with a base section and a plurality of blade sections. The plurality of blade sections are provided on the same side of the base section and arranged around the axis. Each of the plurality of blade sections has an inner end in the radial direction perpendicular to the axis, and also has a front curved section connecting to the inner end and protruding forward in the rotational direction. The stirring blade thus configured suitably stirs a material to be stirred and contributes to the improvement of the degree of mixing and dispersion of the material to be stirred.
