Abstract
A catheter-based ultrasound imaging system configured to provide a full circumferential 360-degree view around an intra-vascular/intra-cardiac imaging-catheter-head by generating a three-dimensional view of the tissue surrounding the imaging-head over time. The ultrasound imaging system can also provide tissue-state mapping capability. The evaluation of the vasculature and tissue characteristics include path and depth of lesions during cardiac-interventions such as ablation. The ultrasound imaging system comprises a catheter with a static or rotating sensor array tip supporting continuous circumferential rotation around its axis, connected to an ultrasound module and respective processing machinery allowing ultrafast imaging and a rotary motor that translates radial movements around a longitudinal catheter axis through a rotary torque transmitting part to rotate the sensor array-tip. This allows the capture and reconstruction of information of the vasculature including tissue structure around the catheter tip for generation of the three-dimensional view over time.

Abstract
An adsorbent media comprising a plurality of pellets of adsorbent material. The pellets of adsorbent material comprise up to 1.5wt% of an organic binder. The pellets of adsorbent material can be sub-millimetre. The pellets of adsorbent material may show comparable or improved performance to the adsorbent material in powder form in gas separation and capture processes. The adsorbent media may therefore be used in an industrial process for gas capture and separation. The adsorbent media also comprises low concentrations of binder. Therefore the adsorbent media may be considered as environmentally friendly. A method for producing the adsorbent media comprising a plurality of pellets of adsorbent material is also provided.

Abstract
A method is disclosed for separating compressed dry air to provide carbon dioxide and reduced-carbon dioxide compressed dry air. The method comprises providing a source of compressed dry air and admitting compressed dry air into a first chamber containing a carbon dioxide-adsorbent material at a first temperature. The carbon dioxide-adsorbent material adsorbs carbon dioxide from the compressed dry air to form reduced-carbon dioxide compressed dry air, which is allowed to pass out of the first chamber. The first chamber is closed to the source of compressed dry air. Then the carbon dioxide-adsorbent material is heated to a second temperature. This releases carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide- adsorbent material, which carbon dioxide is removed from the first chamber. The method may be low cost and low energy, and may be easily integrated into existing compressed dry air systems. A carbon dioxide capture unit and a compressed dry air production system for separating compressed dry air to provide carbon dioxide and reduced-carbon dioxide compressed dry air are also described.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method of using Raman spectroscopy for identification of low grade cervical cytology cases likely to progress to high grade/cancer. The Applicant has found that high quality Raman spectra can be successfully acquired from morphologically normal appearing cells from negative, LSIL and HSIL Thinprep® specimens and different grades of cervical pre-cancer can be separated with good sensitivities and specificities. Raman spectroscopy can further identify different categories of the LSIL cases i.e., whether they are likely to regress to negative or progress to HSIL cytology.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method of using Raman spectroscopy for identification of low grade cervical cytology cases likely to progress to high grade / cancer. The Applicant has found that high quality Raman spectra can be successfully acquired from morphologically normal appearing cells from negative, LSIL and HSIL Thinprep RTM specimens and different grades of cervical pre-cancer can be separated with good sensitivities and specificities. Raman spectroscopy can further identify different categories of the LSIL cases i.e., whether they are likely to regress to negative or progress to HSIL cytology.

Abstract
A modelling system is implemented by a digital processor. The system models fragmentation of spacecraft during the atmospheric re-entry. It predicts propagation of the surviving fragments, given the physical characteristics of the craft and its re-entry trajectory. Fragmentation is modelled by a stick-breaking type of model, an example of which is the Dirichlet model, and this model is tuned using Bayesian processing in order to better fit the data. Such tuning in particularly effective in the invention because much of the available data is in the form of expert opinion. A probability technique such as Bayesian processing quantifies the expert opinion and other non-hard data into the form of a probability distribution. This approach also accommodates the fact that there is much missing data.
