Abstract
An ultraviolet emitting device comprising a plurality of light sources; and a plurality of arms on which the plurality of light sources are mounted, wherein: each arm is expandable between a first position and a second position, each arm is fully collapsed in the first position and fully expanded in the second position, and when each arm is transitioning between the first position and the second position, a length of the arm maintains a fixed proportionality with respect to a spacing of the plurality of light sources on the arm.

Abstract
An ultraviolet emitting system for sanitizing a target volume can include a plurality of adjustably positionable light sources having a collapsed position and the expanded position. The light sources of the plurality of adjustably positionable light sources can be configured to emit ultraviolet light in a substantially homogenous irradiance within the target volume in any position between the collapsed position and the expanded position.

Abstract
Stability devices of varied shape and configurations that serve the function of preventing the systems and equipment such as disinfection equipment or other types of structures and systems from tipping over due to lateral loading. These stability devices attach to the base of the disinfection device and sit slightly above floor level such that mobility of the device is unhindered when in motion but that keep the device from toppling past a certain maximum angle from the vertical when lateral loads are applied at the top of the disinfection device. The stability devices provide protection to the operators and to the equipment and thereby facilitate the function of such disinfection devices in hospitals and other facilities.

Abstract
The present invention provides methods for detecting electromagnetic energy (e.g., ultraviolet radiation) and articles suitable for use in such methods. The methods and articles can be useful for detecting sterilization or disinfection resulting from electromagnetic energy such as ultraviolet C. Detection of the sterilization or disinfection allows discontinuation of the exposure when a desired level of sterilization or disinfection has been obtained. Feedback mechanisms for controlling exposure to the energy may also be used.

Abstract
A Sterilization Unit includes: a UV-C radiation source configured to emit UV-C radiation; and a room partition selectably configurable between two or more different partition geometries and configured, in each of the two or more different partition geometries, to (a) physically separate floor space of a room into a sterilization target area and a non-target area, and (b) direct the UV-C radiation to the target area from at least two different directions while shielding the non-target area from the UV-C radiation.
