Abstract

An apparatus at a driving tee for golf balls or the like, comprising a raisable and lowerable ball support a so-called peg, on which a ball may be placed for driving thereof after lifting of the ball support with the ball to the desired level above the tee, the ball support being disposed on means for switching of the ball support from a low position for loading of the ball support with a ball to a higher position of said desired ball driving level, the ball support being disposed on the switching means via positioning means which are disposed to permit pivoting of the ball support in at least the driving direction, wherein the positioning means include a substantially U-shaped bracket between whose shanks the ball support is pivotal.

Abstract

A surveillance system for ball dispensers is provided allowing for increased driving range throughput with a ball dispenser being configured with a communication unit according to some embodiments. Moreover, the surveillance system provides for real-time equipment servicing, and statistics (real time, daily, monthly) about the well being of the driving range.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning (washing) spherical objects, preferably golf balls, the apparatus comprising two substantially round disks (11, 13) which are disposed in register with one another with an interspace which is less than the diameter of the spherical objects, at least the one disk (11) being rotary and provided with means (19) for guiding the spherical objects out towards the periphery of the disk (11), and the second disk (13) has a centrally located infeed opening (15) and is provided with a brush (14) which extends from the surface of the disk (13) at an angle of less than 90° to the surface of the disk (13) from the centre of the disk (13) out towards the periphery of the disk (13).
