Abstract
A rodent trap is disclosed comprising a housing with a first entry opening, a first channel part having a bottom wall, a top wall, a side wall, and a side opening opposite the side wall, and a transport mechanism configured to move the first channel part between a lower position aligned with the entry opening and an upper position tilted toward either a storage container or an outlet facing the surroundings. In the lower position, the side opening faces a wall section to prevent rodent escape. In the upper position, the first channel part is tilted to discharge a killed rodent through the side opening. The trap may include a killing mechanism, optionally for electrocution, and a control unit for automated operation based on sensor input. In some embodiments, the side opening is uncovered; in others, it includes a hinged wall. The trap may include a chute and a hinged plate for directing rodents to an external outlet. In container-based embodiments, the container may include a lid, a disposable bag, and an indicator system.

Abstract
The invention relates to a method for catching rodents in a sewage system. The method comprises the steps of: a) attaching one end of a support line to a rodent trap; b) lowering the rodent trap down a manhole in the sewage system by means of the support line, and keeping an end of the support line above the manhole; c) positioning the rodent trap in contact with the benching of the bottom part of the manhole; and d) tightening the support line, thereby providing a substantially vertical upwards force on the rodent trap, and attaching the other end of the support line in the upper part of the manhole.

Abstract
Safety mechanism for pest deterrent devices, having two separate closure members pivotally suspended in use substantially vertically, and mutually arranged at a horizontal distance, where the purpose of the two closure members is to hinder the passage of pests in one direction and allow the closure members to pivot in the opposite direction in order to allow liquid flow, where the first closure member (10) is provided with one or more slits (11, 12) which in use are substantially vertical and parallel, and where adjacent the at least one slit, a lock member (13) is arranged, which lock member projects in a plane substantially orthogonal to the plane of the first closure member in a direction away from the second closure member (20), and where the second closure member (20) is provided with a bracket (21), said bracket projecting through the at least one slit in the first closure member and where said bracket has a portion overlapping the lock members plane.
