Wheel assemblies and strollers comprising wheel assemblies are provided. The wheel assembly can comprise a standard wheel and a modular wheel, where the standard wheel has a first diameter that is greater than the diameter of the modular wheel. The modular wheel can be fixedly or removably attached to the standard wheel. The stroller can comprise at least one rear wheel assembly located proximate to a rear of the base. The stroller can also comprise at last one front wheel assembly located proximate to a front of the base. The stroller can also comprise a pulling and/or steering mechanism.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a stroller (100) with a secondary attachment mechanism (221) to facilitate the attachment of various structures to the stroller. In one embodiment, the secondary attachment mechanism may comprise an infant car seat adapter. In another embodiment, the secondary attachment may comprise a basket. The present disclosure also relates to a basket for use in an expandable stroller system. The expandable stroller system comprises an expandable base (105). The basket attaches to the expandable stroller system and expands with the expandable base of the stroller system advantageously providing additional storage space.

Abstract

The stroller system is configured to withstand a variety of operating conditions including various terrain, speed and weight requirements. An embodiment of a stroller with a dual elastic suspension system is also discussed.

Abstract

A stroller system (500) including an expandable base (501) and two frame members is discussed. The stroller system is configured for dual occupancy and provides an expandable cargo area to a user. The first and second seats (504, 505) coupled to their respective frame members (502, 503) may be modular in nature. The second seat (505) may also include a bench seat with optional secondary support structures. The two frame members (502, 503) are configured to fold independently of one another. The mechanical apparatus of the dual occupancy stroller including locking and actuator mechanisms are discussed. Additionally, the mechanism by which the front frame member (502) folds is discussed. The disclosed stroller is capable of simultaneously carrying multiple children with a cargo area that can be extended or retracted and can carry a heavy load. The stroller is able to easily fold to a stowed state.
