Abstract
Provided is a device for correcting nail deformities which can be mounted easily with little effort and without damaging the device during mounting. A first correction member 12 of the device 10 includes a belt 18 that has a serrated portion 16 and a first latching part 20 that is disposed on one lengthwise end of the belt 18 and latches to one widthwise edge of a nail. A second correction member 14 includes a fastening part 24 which has an insertion hole 22 through which the belt 18 is inserted and which fastens the belt 18 to the nail, a locking pawl 26 which is disposed inside the fastening part 24, engages with the serrated portion 16 of the belt 18 that is inserted through the insertion hole 22, and prevents the belt 18 from returning to the direction opposite the insertion direction thereof, and a second latching part 28 which is formed extending in the insertion direction of the belt 18 from the fastening part 24 and engages with the other widthwise edge of the nail.

Abstract
A device for correcting a deformed nail which has a simple structure to be worn onto the nail body, thereby simplifying wearing work and shortening time for the wearing work. The device for correcting a deformed nail includes a first corrective member, a second corrective member, and a ring-formed tensile member. The first corrective member comprises: a first locking section which is formed of an elastic hard wire and provided with a first locking piece to be locked to one side edge of the nail body in the width direction; a first supporting section which is provided with a first abutting surface to abut onto the surface of the nail body and supports the first locking section; and a first connection section the one end of which is provided with a first connection piece and the other end of which is connected to the first supporting section. The second corrective member comprises: a second locking section which is formed of an elastic hard wire and provided with a second locking piece to be locked to the other side edge of the nail body in the width direction; a second supporting section which is provided with a second abutting surface to abut onto the surface of the nail body and supports the second locking section; and a second connection section the one end of which is provided with a second connection piece and the other end of which is connected to the second supporting section. The ring-formed tensile member is formed of an elastic soft wire and hooked on the first connection piece and the second connection piece. The device for correcting a deformed nail is characterized in that the tensile member forms a correction actuating section which retains the first locking section and the second locking section while pulling the same toward the intermediate section of the nail body in the width direction by a predetermined tensile force which is caused by twisting the portion of the tensile member, the portion being on the opposite side from the portions hooked on the first connection piece and the second connection piece.

Abstract
Provided is a nail correcting tool which has a small number of components and a simple structure, prevents correcting force on a nail from decreasing, is readily disposed on a nail body, and causes no difficulties in daily life after being disposed on the nail body. The nail correcting tool includes a first correcting member, a second correcting member, and a fixing part. The first correcting member includes: a first correcting body which is formed of an elastic hard wire and is provided with a first locking piece at a first end side thereof, the first locking piece being locked to a first side edge of the nail body in the width direction; a first correction actuating part which is formed of an elastic soft wire and pulls the first locking piece toward the center section of the nail body in the width direction with a predetermined tensile force to pull up the first side edge of the nail body; and a first supporting body which connects a first end side of the first correction actuating part to a second end side of the first correcting body, and has a support surface which is supported in contact with the front surface of the nail body. The second correcting member includes: a second correcting body which is formed of the elastic hard wire and is provided with a second locking piece at a first end side thereof, the second locking piece being locked to a second side edge of the nail body in the width direction; a second correction actuating part which is formed of the elastic soft wire and pulls the second locking piece toward the center section of the nail body in the width direction with the predetermined tensile force to pull up the second side edge of the nail body; and a second supporting body which connects a first end side of the second correction actuating part to a second end side of the second correcting body, and has a support surface which is supported in contact with the front surface of the nail body. The tensile force by which the first end side and the second end side of the nail body in the width direction are pulled up is adjusted by crossing and twisting a second end side of the first correction actuating part and a second end side of the second correction actuating part in the center section of the nail body in the width direction. The fixing part links the first correction actuating part to the second correction actuating part in the vicinity of the front surface of the nail body with the predetermined tensile force retained.
