Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diseases caused by glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78) overexpression, the composition comprising homoharringtonine as an active ingredient. Homoharringtonine was found to inhibit GRP78 expression, and the anticancer effect of homoharringtonine was found to be more significant in breast cancer having high GRP78 expression than breast cancer having low GRP78 expression. Thus, homoharringtonine can be effectively used in: a composition for preventing, treating, or alleviating diseases caused by GRP78 overexpression; a method for preventing or treating said diseases; or a reagent composition for inhibiting GRP78 expression.

Abstract

A machine-learning method for semiconductor process optimization may include inputting semiconductor-related parameters into each of first neural network models and outputting, based on the semiconductor-related parameters, a predicted figure of merit of a semiconductor device as a first output value from each of the first neural network models. After a semiconductor manufacturing process is performed with a semiconductor manufacturing parameter, electrical measurement parameter values may be measured using one or more measuring devices. The semiconductor-related parameters may include electrical measurement parameter values measured on one or more semiconductor devices. The method may also utilize a feedback loop between an output and an input of the first neural network models so that the electrical measurement parameter values can be updated based on an output value of the first neural network models. A second neural network model may also be used. A computing device and a system are also disclosed.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a ruthenium thin film or a ruthenium compound thin film by a chemical vapor deposition process, wherein a ruthenium thin film or a ruthenium compound thin film is formed by reacting an organic ruthenium compound with a reaction gas on a substrate. According to the present invention, the chemical vapor deposition process comprises: a first film formation step for using a non-oxidizing gas as a reaction gas; and a second film formation step for forming a film by using an oxidizing gas as a reaction gas after forming the film in the first film formation step. In addition, as the organic ruthenium compound serving as a precursor, any one among predetermined organic ruthenium compounds α β, and γ containing a carbonyl ligand is used. The chemical vapor deposition process makes it possible to efficiently form a high-quality ruthenium thin film while suppressing the oxidation of the substrate.

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for sequentially detecting and decoding multiuser sparse code multiple access (SCMA) signal. A detection method includes selecting a single variable node depending on how much the plurality of variable nodes each use function nodes that connect to updated variable nodes; updating messages passed to the single variable node, based on a function node input message passed to the plurality of function nodes and signals received by the plurality of function nodes through channels; mapping updated messages to a priori information of a channel decoder; inputting the priori information to the channel decoder and thereby obtaining probability information of a symbol for the single variable node; and updating messages passed from the single variable node to one of the plurality of function nodes by applying a weight to the probability information of the symbol for the single variable node.

Abstract

The present invention pertains to a microcapsule composition and a method for producing same, wherein alginate gel is formed on the surfaces of calcium carbonate microsphere-conjugated spheroids, thereby encapsulating the spheroids. The method for producing microcapsules has been found to gradually form alginate gel on the surfaces of spheroids containing drugs or physiologically active substances, thereby individually microencapsulating the drugs or physiologically active substances. The drug or physiologically active substance can be positioned in the center of the capsule through a very simple method, and the size of the capsule can be controlled. Thus, very small capsules can be produced in a short period of time as compared to conventional encapsulation methods.

Abstract

An apparatus and method for filter bank multi-carrier signal modulation with a low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in a multiple antenna system are disclosed. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, in a multiple antenna transmission method, after a plurality of transmission candidate signals, which are modulated for each antenna using discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread filter bank multi-carrier and offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM) techniques and are capable of obtaining a single carrier effect, are generated, a transmission candidate signal with a low PAPR can be selected and transmitted, and thus peak-to-average power ratio performance can be effectively improved, and interference between subcarriers can be eliminated by applying an Alamouti coding manner.

Abstract

A method of synthesizing aluminum nitride, the method includes: preparing mixed powder containing 0.5 to 8 wt % of zinc powder, 0.01 to 2 wt % of magnesium powder, 0.01 to 1 wt % of silicon powder, 0.01 to 1 wt % of copper powder, and a balanced amount of aluminum powder; preparing a feedstock of the mixed powder blended and filled with thermoplastic organic binder, by pressured kneading the mixed powder and the thermoplastic organic binder; forming granules of the feedstock by crushing the feedstock or forming a molded body of the feedstock via a powder molding method; and debinding the granules or the molded body by heating under a nitrogen gas atmosphere, and then performing direct nitridation between aluminum and a nitrogen gas at a temperature higher than a debinding temperature.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory bowel disease, containing, as an active ingredient, a pyridinol derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A pyridinol derivative represented by chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has an excellent colitis inhibitory effect in an inflammatory bowel disease model, and thus can be useful as a medicine for preventing or treating inflammatory bowel disease.

Abstract

The present application relates to a multifunctional filter medium and a method of manufacturing the same. The multifunctional filter medium of the present application is capable of significantly reducing fine dust, harmful microorganisms, and toxic gases and reducing a pressure decrease during filtration due to exclusion of high-density nanofiber, thereby minimizing energy required for filtration and exhibiting sufficient filtration performance as a single filter medium.
