Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustment device (23) and a method for adjusting the acceleration (aS) of a vertically moving transport apparatus (1) with the help of a brake (5). According to the invention, the direction of travel of the transport apparatus (1) is determined using a sensor system (7, 8); an acceleration adjustment algorithm (21, 22) is selected according to the previously determined direction of travel (B), and a desired acceleration value (aSoll) is determined for the acceleration adjustment to be performed; and the acceleration of the transport apparatus (1) is adjusted using the selected acceleration adjustment algorithm (21, 22) and the previously determined desired acceleration value (aSoll), the current acceleration of the transport apparatus (1) being measured by a sensor (7).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for decelerating a rail-guided transport apparatus (1), in particular an elevator car (1), with the help of a brake (5). According to the invention, a future position (szuk) and/or a future speed (vzuk) of the transport apparatus (1) is ascertained taking into account the acceleration (aakt) of the transport apparatus (1), and a deceleration intervention is initiated when the ascertained future position (szuk) and/or the ascertained future speed (vzuk) of the transport apparatus (1) exceed/s an associated threshold value (sgrenz, vgrenz).

Abstract

The invention relates to a friction brake (1), in particular for elevators, comprising at least two pivotably arranged brake levers (2), which each have a brake lining (6) and are arranged opposite each other in the form of a pair of brake tongs. An actuator (5) is provided for actuating the friction brake (1). In order to avoid uneven loading of the brake levers (2) lying opposite each other, the actuator (5) is designed in such a way that the force (FA) exerted by the actuator (5) acts substantially perpendicularly to a brake application force (Fz) exerted by the brake levers (5). Furthermore, a spreading mechanism (9, 26) is provided, by means of which the brake application force (Fz) can be regulated by the force (FA) exerted by the actuator.

Abstract

The invention relates to a friction brake (1) for braking a rail-guided transporting means (26), in particular a lift, having at least one braking lever (3) with a brake lining (4), which can be pushed against a rail (2) in order to brake the supporting means (26), and an actuator (6) for actuating the at least one braking lever (3). According to the invention, it is proposed to provide a spring arrangement (8), which biases the at least one braking lever (3) in the direction of engagement (x), and a control unit (32), which activates the actuator (6) such that an engagement movement of the friction brake (1) brought about by the spring arrangement (8) is damped at least in a phase-wise manner.
