A self-propelled wrapping machine has an anchoring element including a base adapted to abut a supporting plane and connected to an upper plate, and a locking element between the upper plate and the base. The locking element and base are movable relative to each other between closed and open configurations. An unwinding apparatus has first and second pre-stretching rollers and a motion transmission system for transmitting a rotation motion from the first pre-stretching roller to the second pre-stretching roller. Abstract

A self-propelled wrapping machine is movable around a product for wrapping the product with a film of synthetic plastic material and includes a self-propalled carriage provided with directional wheels and with a steering assembly for maneuvering the directional wheels. The wrapping machine further includes a spring acting on the steering assembly to exert a first torque and induce the steering assembly (11) to orient the directional wheels according to a prescribed work direction. The wrapping machine also includes a device that is drivable by the steering assembly to exert a further torque, opposite the first torque, on the steering assembly to lighten the assembly and thus facilitate an orienting maneuver of the directional wheels according to a further direction.

Abstract

A further self-propelled wrapping machine is movable around a product for wrapping the product with a film of plastics and comprises directional wheels (9), steering around a rotation axis (R) to enable the machine to follow a desired movement path, a steering (11), for manoeuvring the directional wheels (9) along the movement path, and a spring (17), for exerting, along an application direction (d1), a force generating a torque on the steering (11) that is such as to induce the steering (11) to rotate the directional wheels (9) around the rotation axis (R) according to a set direction (D). The machine is further provided with a device (21, 23) that is controllable by the steering (11) and acting on the spring (17) for reducing the aforesaid torque such as to lighten the steering (11) and facilitate an orienting manoeuvre of the directional wheels (9) according to a further direction.
