Abstract

This invention relates to devices used to display material samples. Previously, there was no efficient way to display cellular fabrics for window coverings. Embodiments of the present invention use a backer board (12) connected to a display module (14) having a plurality of joined cellular material sample sections (16) further connected to a label (22). The plurality of joined cellular material sample sections having holes (24) to permit a magnet (30) to travel through the holes and be attached to a magnetic plate (32) on the opposite end of the display module. This enables a first mode of operation, where a plurality of joined cellular material sample sections are compressed by magnetically coupling the magnet to the magnetic plate. In a second mode of operation, the plurality of joined cellular material sample sections are expanded by pulling the label away from the backer board.

Abstract

This invention relates to devices that can display sheer material for window coverings. Previously, sampling devices or systems need to have a human to manually lift up the flap and hold it in an open position manually to show the fabric in the open position. Embodiments of the present have a swatch deck (10) attached to a lifting tab (14) and a substrate (20) where a support arm (16) is mechanically coupled to the lifting tab and is configured to be supported by the substrate which maneuvers the lifting tab distant the swatch deck. When a swatch covering (12) is attached to plurality of support veins (18), the support arm can be supported against the substrate to display the swatch covering and the plurality of support veins from the support arm without requiring a human to hold the flap in the open position.

Abstract

A display tool is configured to maneuver a fabric swatch covering and includes a swatch deck and a support arm attached to a lifting tab to maneuver the lifting tab away from the swatch deck. A substrate is attached to the swatch deck and configured to support the support arm when the lifting tab is distant the swatch deck. A first swatch covering front side is attached to the support arm. A first plurality of support veins front side is attached to the first swatch covering back side and the first plurality of support veins back side is attached to the substrate. The support arm can be supported against the substrate to display the first swatch covering and the first plurality of support veins from the support arm.
