Abstract

The invention relates to a halting shoe for halting the wheel of a vehicle rolling on the ground. The shoe includes a base (2) for resting against the ground surface, and an oblique support ramp (3) to be engaged under the tread of the wheel. The support ramp represents the outer surface of a panel (9) capable of displacement relative to the base (2) between a halting position in which the support ramp (3) is inclined relative to the base at a given halting angle, and a clearance position in which the support ramp (3) is inclined relative to the base at an angle lower than the given halting angle. The invention also relates to a powered halting assembly including such shoe.
