Abstract
A device for presenting a branch to an inspection or treating device with a first set (10) of two resiliently closed with the axis of a guide coaxial clamping beaks, each having an abutment edge which diverges away from the beak edge and capable of cooperation with the end edges of a second set (15) of resiliently closed, coaxial with this axis clamping beaks, in which the second set (15) can be displaced from a first end position in which they lie between the first clamping beaks (10) and the end of the guide, and in which end position a branch to be treated and supplied via this guide can be moved to lie between these beaks (10), to a position between the second beaks (15), while opening up the first beaks (10), into a second end position below these first beaks, while the first beaks (10) take over the branch by closing clampingly around it and the second beaks (15) can move back to their first end position.
