Abstract

The object of the invention is a drilling process aiming to drill a through hole (10) in a part (12), using a tool, specifically a bit, the hole leading to at least one opening (11), characterised in that before drilling, it consists in applying at least one foam element (18) against at least one face in the area where the hole (10) to be drilled will appear when the part is drilled, the said foam element (18) allowing the residue (16) from the drilling to be collected in these alveoli.
