Abstract

The rotational angle range of a rotor according to the present invention is limited to an operating angle range which is smaller than a total rotational angle range of the rotor, in which the rotor can be rotated with an excited stator. When the rotor is positioned at a first end of the operating angle range, a blade is overlapped with an opening and when the rotor is positioned at a second end of the operating angle range, the blade is away from the opening. The operating angle range includes a position in the total rotational angle range, at which the torque value of the rotor becomes the maximum value in the case that the rotor rotates in the first direction when the rotational angle range of the rotor is not limited. A biasing member biases the rotor in the second direction directly or indirectly in a section at least from a halfway position to the first end in the operating angle range.

Abstract

Positions of a wire (33), which reciprocates by arc motion of a lever (36), within XY planes are regulated by means of a plurality of guides (35A-35D), each of which is composed of a pair of guide members (35a) and a warp preventing plate (35b).  Thus, a deformation quantity of the wire (33) can be reduced when the wire (33) collides with a material to which printing is to be performed.  As a result, frequency of generation of failures such as a bending damage and buckling of the wire (33) of a printing head (30) can be remarkably reduced.  Furthermore, service-life of the printing head (30) and that of a device to which the printing head (30) is attached can be lengthened.

Abstract

While moving a head having a plurality of equidistantly arranged engraving pins stepwise in a lateral direction, and when forming a code matrix (CM) comprising a plurality of dots on an engraved surface, a control unit sequentially positions the head such that the distance the head travels in the lateral direction does not become significantly larger, and such that adjacent dots are formed by different engraving pins. Through the above, errors arising when the head is moved in a wide step are dispersed, and as a result, the dots constituting a pattern can be formed accurately in a matrix shape.

Abstract

By arranging engraving pins (33) around a vertical axis (L) and along the circumference of a circle centered on the vertical axis (L), the engraving pins (33) have identical orientation. This configuration limits the incidence of dot placement deviance caused by engraving pin (33) position, and dots are formed at an accurate pitch on the engraving surface. Further, as there is no difference in orientation between engraving pins (33), there is reduced variation in engraving pin (33) speeds at time of contact with the engraved surface, and it is possible to easily create dots of uniform size on the engraved surface.

Abstract

An elastic gear (30) and a drive ring (40) are superposed on each other in the direction of the center axis of their rotation. A circular arc groove (32) is formed in the elastic gear (30) so as to extend along a tooth row section (33) of the elastic gear (30). The circular arc groove (32) facilitates elastic deformation of the elastic gear (30), particularly that in a radial direction. Further, the tips (331a) of teeth (33a) project radially outward from the tips (431a) of teeth (43a). The construction reduces operation noise caused by backlash.

Highly reliable time information on a file attached to electronic mail is easily acquired. Upon receiving electronic mail before a transmission processing from an electronic mail server, a time-stamp adding apparatus (3) determines whether a file is attached to the electronic mail by an attached file presence determining section (301) and, if attached, takes the file from the electronic mail. The time-stamp adding apparatus (3) adds a time-stamp to each file by an electronic signature section (304), reattaches the file to which the time-stamp is added to the electronic mail by an electronic mail reconfiguring section (306), and returns it to the server.

Abstract

An optical filter (10) is composed of a flat plate (11), a turning pin (12) and an operation pin (13). The flat plate (11) is provided with a transparent substrate (31), a resin layer (32) formed on the transparent substrate (31), and a CNT layer (33) formed on the resin layer (32). The CNT layer (33) is arranged on an uppermost layer. Since CNT dispersed in the CNT layer (33) has a characteristic of more absorbing light having a short wavelength, strength of ultraviolet reaching the resin layer (32) can be reduced by forming the CNT layer (33) on the uppermost layer, and dye dispersed in the resin layer (32) is prevented from deteriorating. Thus, the optical filter (10) is provided with excellent resistance to environment.
