Abstract
The technical field concerned is that of cabling, notably using cabling machines of the type having "frames" and more specifically the manufacture of special so-called "fire-resistant" cables. The invention relates to a method, and to the suitable machines and equipment, for the manufacture of fire-resistant cables of the taped "mica" type comprising an assembly line with a double-twist cabling frame (ALDT) machine for cabling filaments or wires (BF) coming from at least one payout device (DR), and at least one payout device (DM) for paying out mica tape (RM), possibly two, performed in a single step and on a single production line in which the mica tape or tapes is/are laid on the strand and undergo said double twist with the strand, in said cabling machine. This reduces the number of joints, lowers the stress on the mica tape, improves productivity, improves the finished quality, and reduces production costs and time.

Abstract
A wire, strand, or cable guide element (EG) for a flyer bow for assembling/twisting/braiding the wire, strand, or cable has an inner surface (SI) which defines the travel path of the wire, strand, or cable (PF) and which consists of alternating adjacent micro-bumps (MB) and micro-recesses (MC). The flyer bow at least partially or entirely surrounds the wire, strand, or cable by means of a member (C) and has a longitudinal orifice or inner tube (O) in the mass of said member (C), said orifice or inner tube (O) extending along the entire length of the bow. The wire, strand, or cable guide element (EG) is accommodated within said orifice (O) so as to guide the longitudinal travel of the wire, strand, or cable.
