Abstract

A sanding tool protecting device comprises a protecting cover (1), a protecting cover hold hoop (3), a front cover (4), an O-shaped ring (5) and a screw (6). The protecting cover hold hoop is disposed below the protecting cover through the screw. An upper end of the front cover is disposed in the protecting cover and a center hole of the protecting cover hold hoop. The O-shaped ring is disposed in a predetermined groove located at a lower end of the front cover. A pull-pin type elastic locking mechanism is disposed in the protecting cover hold hoop and is composed of a brake member (2) and a torsion spring (8). The tail end of the torsion spring is connected to the brake member. One end of the brake member is disposed outside the protecting cover hold hoop, and the other end of the brake member is disposed in a groove of the front cover. A scale division member (7) is disposed in the protecting cover hold hoop. An operator can implement assembly and disassembly of the protecting cover, angle adjustment and locking operations by simply pulling or releasing the brake member in the pull-pin type elastic locking mechanism without using any tool. Therefore, the sanding tool protecting device is convenient to operate and simple in structure.

Abstract

A cutting saw with a safety protection device comprises a base (4) used for placing a workpiece to be cut. A support arm (9) is arranged on the base (4), and connected with a saw blade (5) via a power head; a fan-shaped fixed protecting cover (2) and a fan-shaped movable protecting cover (3) which are oppositely folded to form a whole circle are arranged on the saw blade (5); an extension arm (10) is arranged at the upper end of the support arm (9), one end of a protecting cover connection rod (7) is connected with the movable protecting cover (3), and an arc bypass elbow at the other end of the protecting cover connection rod (7) is connected with a limit button (13) and the extension arm (10) through an axial-position screw (11). The lower end of the limit button (13) is provided with an arc bayonet (14) matched with the radian of the arc bypass elbow of the protecting cover connection rod (7). The movement of the protecting cover connection rod is thoroughly locked and the movable protecting cover is ensured not to turn up during the periods of charge and discharge operations for the workpiece, thus avoiding that the movable protecting cover of the previous safety protection device may still turn up during this period causing an accident; simultaneously, the cutting saw is simple in structure and convenient in assembly.

Abstract

A cutting saw with a safety cover is disclosed. The cutting saw comprises: a base (4) for placing a workpiece to be processed, a support arm (9) hinged to the base (4), a power supply provided on the support arm (9), a saw blade (5) rotated by the power supply, a sector fixed cover (2) and a movable cover (3) substantially combined to a full circle by which the saw blade (5) may be covered. The support arm (9) is provided with an extension arm (10), a first positioning screw (11) is fixed on the extension arm (10), a second positioning screw (13) is set bypass the first positioning screw (11), one end of a cover connecting rod (7) is hinged on the position near the center of rotation of the movable cover (3), and the other end of the cover connecting rod (7) is chucked on the first positioning screw (11) through the sector fixed cover (2). The safety cover can ensure that the movable cover would not turned up accidentally during the loading-unloading operations of the workpiece while keeping the original turnup action performance of the movable cover.
