Abstract

A traction part (Pd) and a pressing part (Pp) are offset from a support part (Ps) on opposite sides to each other in the vehicle width direction. Accordingly, the balance of an operating member (62) with respect to the support part (Ps) in the vehicle width direction is more readily ensured than when the traction part (Pd) and the pressing part (Pp) are offset from the support part (Ps) on the same side in the vehicle width direction. As a result of this configuration, a support member (61) can be inhibited from being inclined and bent in the vehicle width direction by a force received from a cable (70) and the operating member (62).

The outer tube insertion part is provided with an insertion part opening that passes through in the radial direction of the outer tube, with a retaining part that prevents the outer tube from slipping out from the insertion part opening, and with a through hole that is in a radial direction position that faces the retaining part. In the housing member, a housing part opening that opens in the same direction as the insertion part opening or the through hole is formed in a housing part that houses the wire winding member. In the wire guide member, an opening that is continuous with the insertion part opening is formed in the wire guide groove. As a result, the housing member or the wire guide member can be easily produced using a mold that moves relative to the opening direction of the insertion part opening and the through hole of the outer tube insertion part, and productivity is improved.

Abstract

A window regulator comprises: a guide rail; a slider base that is supported on the guide rail so as to be able to freely move vertically; a drive wire that is connected to the slider base; a wire guide that is supported on one end of the guide rail and that has, in a position offset from the guide rail in the vehicle width direction, a winding unit by which the drive wire is wound; and a drive unit that raises and lowers the slider base via the drive wire. The wire guide is supported on the guide rail by at least a retaining unit and a pressing unit. The retaining unit engages with the guide rail so as to prevent the wire guide from disengaging from the guide rail in the vehicle width direction, and the pressing unit engages with the guide rail so as to allow the guide rail to be pressed toward the other end of the guide rail. The pressing unit is positioned more toward the other end than the retaining unit and is formed in a position offset closer to the winding unit side than the retaining unit in the vehicle width direction. Thus, it is possible to provide a window regulator for which "bowing deformation" of the guide rail does not easily occur even if thinning or cross sectional deformation of the guide rail progresses.
