Abstract

The invention relates to a device (12) for grouping packaging casings (10) comprising: a transport means (13) for transporting at least two packaging casings (10) in a transport direction (T), the transport means (13) comprising at least two sliders (14) for receiving, grouping and transporting the packaging casings (10) between the sliders (14), and the sliders (14) being adjustable, in particular movable, in the transport direction (T) and/or counter to the transport direction (T). In order to allow the packaging casings to be grouped more flexibly and effectively, according to the invention at least in some places the sliders (14) can be individually adjusted, in particular moved, in the transport direction (T) and/or counter to the transport direction (T) along a circumferential track (B). Abstract

The invention relates to a device and a method for guiding filled and sealed packages (P), in particular cardboard/plastic composite packages for flowable products, to an applicator (A) for pouring elements, drinking straws, or the like, comprising a linear feed of upright packages (P) which follow one another in a tightly packed manner and a separating device (3) for the accumulated packages (P), wherein the packages (P) are transferred individually to the applicator (A) by means of a transferring device (4). The aim of the invention is to reliably implement a trouble-free operation even at high machine speeds with a small-construction device. This is achieved in that the transferring device (4) has a plurality of receiving cells for the packages (P), the distances between said receiving cells being variable relative to one another. This is carried out by the following steps: - accelerating the package (P) transferred to the transferring device (4) in a package holder (12) along a circular path about the guide disk (9) of the transferring device (4), - transferring the package (P) to the applicator (A), - slowing the package holder (12), and - receiving another package (P).

Abstract

The invention relates to a device and a method for discharging individual upright filled and sealed packages (P), in particular cardboard/plastic composite packages for flowable products, out of an applicator (A) for pouring elements, drinking straws, or the like. The applicator (A) has a rotary design, and the packages (P) are held on circulating positions of the applicator (A) and are discharged at a discharge position. The aim of the invention is to allow a discharge which puts as little strain on the packages as possible even when using relatively small discharge radii and to reliably provide a trouble-free operation even when using large-construction applicators (A) with a plurality of receiving pockets even at high machine speeds using a simple design. This is achieved in that a discharge wheel (2) with a circular segment path (3) which runs partly about the circumference of the wheel is arranged in the region of the discharge position of the applicator (A), and at least two circulating toothed belts (5, 5', 9) which are driven in a synchronized manner and each of which is wrapped around at least one deflection wheel (8, 8', 13, 14) are provided for transporting the packages (P) in the circular segment path (3). Each toothed belt (5, 5', 9) has a plurality of teeth (6, 6', 10) for reliably guiding the packages (P), and the teeth (6, 6') of the first toothed belt(s) (5, 5') act on the packages (P) on one side as trailing teeth (6, 6') and the teeth (10) of the other toothed belt(s) (9) act on the packages (P) on the other side as leading teeth (10).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for applying pouring elements (F), which are held by means of a gripping device (6) of an applicator (1) and have a flange and a screw cap, onto packages (P), in particular cardboard/plastic composite packages for flowable products. Each pouring element (F) is supplied to the gripping device (6) in an aligned position, is gripped by gripper jaws (26A, 26B) of a gripper (26) of the gripping device (6), and is applied to a package (P) by the gripping device by means of the pouring element flange and is pressed against the package. The aim of the invention is to achieve a situation-adapted individual pressing of the pouring elements (F) even onto uneven gable surfaces of the packages (P) with a uniformly distributed force in a single pressing process during the application of the pouring elements. This is achieved in that the method according to the invention has the following steps: - gripping a pouring element (F) by closing the gripper jaws (26A, 26B), - lowering each gripping device (6) together with the gripped pouring element (F) onto a package (P) being transported below the pouring element into an application position, - pressing the flange of the pouring element (F) onto the package (P) by means of a pressing head (33) over a specified period, wherein the pressing head (33) can be freely moved in space by a specified angular range and can be adapted to the respective shape of the package gable during the pressing process, and the center of the imaginary adhesive surface remains stationary, and - lifting each gripping device (6) in order to receive a newly supplied pouring element (F).

Abstract

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for at least partly folding up packaging casings (3, 63), preferably according to one of the claims 1 to 9, comprising a cartridge (22) with a stack (81) of packaging casings (3, 63). The packaging casings (3, 63) of the stack (81) are folded flat about at least two folding edges (65) running in the longitudinal direction of the packaging casings (3, 63), and a gripper is provided for gripping a packaging casing (3, 63) face facing away from the stack and moving the folding edges (6, 65) of the packaging casings (3, 63), in particular pulling the folding edges, along a withdrawal transport path (TB) into grooves (97) of at least one receiving area of a shaping station (84), and the grooves (97) are spaced such that the folding edges (6, 65) of the packaging casings (3, 63) are spaced apart farther in the cartridge (22) than in the grooves (97). The aim of the invention is to further prevent operational malfunctions and allow a more reliable production of packaging bodies which are open on one side from packaging casings which are open on both sides largely without malfunctions. This is achieved in that a drive (115) is paired with the gripper (93) and/or the grooves (97) for moving the packaging casing (3, 63) section gripped by the gripper (93) first along the withdrawal transport path (TB) over a groove plane (NE) which connects the grooves (97), then back over the groove plane (NE) opposite the withdrawal transport path (TB), and then again over the groove plane (NE) along the withdrawal transport path (TB).
