Abstract
The invention relates to a photovoltaic device comprising at least one first optical element for bundling the incident solar radiation onto at least one small-area solar cell. The first optical element comprises a holographic structure that deflects the incident solar radiation that cannot be converted to power by the solar cell, to at least one light conversion layer and lets other solar radiation through. The light conversion layer shifts the solar radiation deflected thereto to shorter wavelengths. An optical structure is present on the light conversion layer and deflects the solar radiation that is shifted by the light conversion layer to shorter wavelengths and that can be converted by the solar cell to electrical energy to the solar cell and lets other solar radiation through.

Abstract
The invention relates to a concentrator photovoltaic device (10) with a number of photovoltaic devices (22) for directly converting solar energy into electrical energy. A number of photovoltaic devices (22) are each provided with a light entrance surface (20) of a solar cell (56), which has a surface area that is smaller than the light entrance surface (20) of the photovoltaic device (22). The first optical unit (24) is designed for concentrating or bundling the solar radiation, which enters through the light entrance surface (20), onto an area (34), which is determined by the smaller surface of the solar cell (56), is located at a distance from the light entrance surface (20), and which is provided with a smaller surface area than the light entrance surface (20). In order to be able to obtain a more economical device by using smaller surface area solar cells without any problems with regard to the positioning thereof, the invention provides that: the number of photovoltaic devices (22) are each provided with a holding device (30) with which the assigned solar cell (56) is positioned in the provided area (34); the holding device (30) is fixed via a first end (32) to the first optical unit (24) and; the solar cell (56) is fixed to an opposite second end (34) of the holding device (30). The invention also relates to a photovoltaic device for a device of the aforementioned type and to an advantageous production method.

Abstract
The invention relates to a photovoltaic device for directly converting solar power into electrical power using a solar cell which has a smaller areal expanse than a light inlet area on the photovoltaic device, an optical unit for concentrating or focusing the solar radiation entering through the light inlet area onto a prescribed region which is determined by the relatively small area of the solar cell, is at a distance from the light inlet area and has a smaller area than the light inlet area, and a transparent support on which the solar cell is fitted. For simpler and economic manufacture of the device, it is proposed that the support be a transparent light outlet body through which the concentrated or focused solar radiation can pass and that the solar cell be fitted on a side of the light outlet body which is remote from the light inlet area and/or the optical unit. In addition, a PV concentration module formed from a plurality of such photovoltaic devices and an advantageous production method therefor are proposed.
