A device for heating the outside of food particles includes a substantially cylindrical tube extending with a substantially horizontal axis, a heating device configured to heat the tube on the outside, a drive device configured to drive the tube in rotation about its axis, a supply device configured to supply food particles to be heated to the interior of the tube in the vicinity of a first end of the tube, and a discharge device configured to discharge the heated food particles from the second end of the tube. The product is heated briefly by contact heating in a rotating tube, being carried along by the rotating part and detaching from the wall at a point in time due to gravity in combination with the rotating movement, and thereby coming loose from the other part of the tangle of meat.

Abstract
A treatment device for treating food products with conditioned air includes a housing with a product inlet and product outlet. The housing defines a treatment chamber. The device includes at least one conveyor means for conveying the products through the treatment chamber from the product inlet to the product outlet, an air-circulator for causing an air stream to flow through the treatment chamber, and an air-conditioning for conditioning the air stream. The air-conditioner includes a heater and a moisture-feeder. The treatment device is also provided with controllable air-discharger for discharging air from the treatment chamber. A control device controls the moisture content of the conditioned air in the treatment chamber within a range defined by a predetermined lower limit and a predefined upper limit.

Abstract
The invention provides a method for molding three-dimensional products from a mass of foodstuff starting materials which are suitable for consumption, in particular a meat mass. The method comprises the steps of filling a mold cavity, which is open on one side, with the mass of foodstuff starting materials which are suitable for consumption, which mold cavity is defined by a boundary comprising walls and base, in order to mold a molded three-dimensional product, and the removal of the molded three-dimensional product from the mold cavity. In the method according to the invention, during removal the adhesion forces between the molded product and the boundary are eliminated virtually simultaneously along all the interfaces.
