METHOD FOR INSTALLING A SUNSHADE IN THE LIGHT OPENING OF A BUILDING ELEMENT AND A BUILDING ELEMENT
A method for installing sunshade in light opening of building element is disclosed. The light opening comprises first and second edge surfaces. A glazing unit extends from the first edge surface to the second edge surface. The first and/or second edge surface is provided with at least two fastening holes. A fastener is installed in the fastening holes. Installation rail is attached to the fasteners which comprise a tip and a head part. Before the building element is mounted in the building, fastening holes are provided and the first ends of the fastening holes opening in the first and/or the second edge surface are closed. The first ends of fastening holes are opened in connection with installing fasteners. Fasteners are driven in fastening holes by inserting or screwing the tip part into the fastening hole, and the installation rails are attached to the head part remaining outside the fastening hole.
A method for installing a sunshade in a light opening of a building element, the light opening comprising a first edge surface (40), a second edge surface (42), and a glazing unit (20) extending from the first edge surface to the second edge surface, comprises providing the first and/or second edge surface of the building element with at least two fas- tening holes (44), installing a fastener (52) in said at least two fastening holes, and attaching an installation rail (30) for the sunshade to the fasteners. The sunshade comprises a first edge strip and a second edge strip, at least two conductor wires extending from the first edge strip to the second edge strip and a movable protective curtain suspended from the conductor wires. The first edge strip and/or the second edge strip have a substantially rigid gripping projection for attachment to the edge profile of the glazing. METHOD AND FASTENING ELEMENT FOR INSTALLING A SUNSHADE TO A GLAZING PART
In the method a sunshade is installed to a glazing part, which comprises a transparent sheet (10) with a first end edge and second end edge and a first side edge (16) and second side edge (18). The side edges are free edges of the sheet. In the method at least one first fastening element (20) is attached close to the first end edge of the transparent sheet and at least one second fastening element is attached close to the second end edge of the transparent sheet, and the sunshade (100 is suspended on the said fastening elements. The first and second fastening elements are attached to the side edges of the transparent sheet. Typically the sunshade can comprise at least one guide wire (24), which has a first end and second end. In this case the first end of the guide wire is attached to the first fastening element and the second end of the guide wire is attached to the second fastening element. The fastening element of the sunshade used in the method has gripping means for attaching to the glazing part and a fastening body for attaching to the sunshade. The gripping means comprises a slot formed by the first flank (26), the second flank (28) and the base (30) connecting the flanks, to which slot the free edge of the transparent sheet can be fitted.
The fastener for a sunshade comprises a gripping part (10) to be secured to an edge rail of a sunshade and a suspension means (20) to be secured to a structural part. The suspension means is pivotably connected to the gripping part. The pivotable connection to the gripping part allows the suspension means to be pivoted to an appropriate position in each fastening situation where the entire fastener cannot be pivoted. The suspension means may comprise an elongated shaft (22), the suspension means being adapted to be pivoted around a pivoting axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the shaft. The shaft may have a hook (30) in its second end.
A sunshade is installed to a glazing part, which comprises a transparent sheet with a first end edge and second end edge and a first side edge and second side edge. The side edges are free edges of the sheet. At least one first fastening element is attached close to the first end edge of the transparent sheet and at least one second fastening element is attached close to the second end edge of the transparent sheet, and the sunshade is suspended on the said fastening elements. The first and second fastening elements are attached to the side edges of the transparent sheet.
The fastener is intended to be attached to a glazing element, which has a glass sheet and at least one frame part setting against the surface of the glass sheet. The fastener has a support part and a fastening element to be inserted into the gap between the glass sheet and frame. The fastening element comprises a locking element for locking to the surface of the frame part facing the glass sheet. The fastener installed in place remains in place in the gap between the frame part and glass sheet by means of the locking element without any other attachment elements. The locking element can be a locking projection turning to an angle from the plane of the fastening element, a flexible locking tongue turning to an angle from the plane of the fastening element or a rigid locking tip. The support part may comprise gripping means for attaching to the edge rail of the sunshade. In the method the fastener is attached to a glazing element so that at least part of the fastening element of the fastener is inserted into the gap between the glass sheet and frame part and by locking the fastening element to the surface of the frame part facing the glass sheet.

FASTENER AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING THE FASTENER TO A GLAZING ELEMENT
The fastener is intended to be attached to a glazing element, which has a glass sheet and at least one frame part setting against the surface of the glass sheet. The fastener has a support part (10) and a fastening element (20) to be inserted into the gap between the glass sheet and frame. The fastening element comprises a locking element for locking to the surface of the frame part facing the glass sheet. The fastener installed in place remains in place in the gap between the frame part and glass sheet by means of the locking element without any other attachment elements. The locking element can be a locking projection (22) turning to an angle from the plane of the fastening element, a flexible locking tongue turning to an angle from the plane of the fastening element or a rigid locking tip. The support part may comprise gripping means (14a, 14b) for attaching to the edge rail of the sunshade. In the method the fastener is attached to a glazing element so that at least part of the fastening element of the fastener is inserted into the gap between the glass sheet and frame part and by locking the fastening element to the surface of the frame part facing the glass sheet.
The invention relates to a fastener for fastening a sunshade to the edge profile of a balcony glazing including a gap. In the fastener, there are a base (10) in which are arranged L-shaped fastening brackets (12) for fastening to the sunshade and a fastening part (14) by means of which the fastener is fastened to the edge profile. Advantageously, the shape of the base is plate-like, whereby the fastening part is arranged on a first surface of the base and the fastening brackets are arranged on a second surface of the base. By means of the fastening part, the fastener can be fastened to the gap of the edge profile without separate fastening elements and without tools or auxiliary devices. In the fastening part, there are a first mating surface (20) which is arranged to settle against the first edge surface of the gap, and a second mating surface (22) which is arranged to settle against the second edge surface of the gap. Advantageously, the shape of at least the second mating surface is through-like. The first mating surface and the second mating surface are connected to each other by a spring part (18) for pressing the mating surfaces against the edge surfaces of the gap. The material of the fastener is advantageously plastic, composite material or metal, such as aluminium.
