Abstract

A method of manufacturing a kit for a cold storage room includes the following steps: determining one or more dimensions of the cold storage room; providing continuously manufactured insulation panels, cut to have a length based on the dimensions of the cold storage room, and having alignment structures formed thereon; cutting one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels to have a width based on the dimensions of the cold storage room and to form one or more joints; forming connecting structures on one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels, the connecting structures configured to form one or more joints; and providing connection hardware configured to mate with the connecting structures and to form one or more joints.

Abstract

A cam lock for side-by-side tongue-and-groove interlocking panels can be arranged to work easily and effectively by using a keyed cam lock that provides proper orientation and a stop when the lock is engaged. A cam lock for side-by-side tongue-and-groove interlocking panels can be arranged to be inserted on the tongue side and act against a mid-portion of the opposed panel. An insert bracket can cover with one end at least a part of an end of a panel at a corner connection between panels and with the other end it can fit into a slot in the panel to immobilize the panel in two directions, while a fastener-receiving portion of the bracket can have a V-shaped portion whose side walls can guide the fastener to pass through the bracket at a bottom of the V-shaped portion. This concept applies for wall to wall connection, wall to ceiling connection and wall to floor connection.

Abstract

An insulated panel lateral connector for connecting two side-by-side insulated panels has a cam lock structure. A method of manufacturing a kit for an insulated structure includes the following steps: detemining one or more dimensions of the cold storage room; providing insulation panels, having a length based on the dimensions of the cold storage room, and having alignment structures formed thereon; cutting one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels to have a width based on the dimensions of the cold storage room and to fomi one or more joints; foming connecting structures on one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels, the connecting structures configured to fomi one or more joints; and providing connection hardware configured to mate with the connecting structures and to fomi one or more joints.
