Abstract
The present invention relates to an injection-compression molding method for plastic glazing for use as automotive glass, comprising: a first step (S1) for introducing a molten resin into a closed mold via an injection flow path; a second step (S2) for blocking the gate of the injection flow path after the molten resin has been introduced; a third step (S3) for compressing the molten resin by applying uniform pressure on the whole area thereof; a fourth step (S4) for cooling the compressed molten resin while maintaining the compressed state thereof; and a fifth step (S5) for opening the mold. When pressure is applied to the whole area of the molten resin, the molten resin can be prevented from flowing backward from the gate to the injection flow path, and the occurrence of pressure loss can be prevented, since the gate of the injection flow path is blocked after the molten resin has been introduced.

Abstract
The present invention relates to an injection-compression molding apparatus for plastic glazing for use as automotive glass, comprising: an upper mold and a lower mold disposed so as to face each other; an injection flow path formed for injecting a molten resin into the upper mold and the lower mold; a compression core selectively installed in the upper mold or the lower mold so as to move in a linear reciprocating motion in a direction vertical to the whole area of the molten resin, so that the whole area of the molten resin is compressed with uniform pressure; a power means for supplying power for the linear motion of the compression core; a power transmission means for transmitting the power from the power means to the compression core; and a gate opening/closing means provided for opening or closing the gate of the injection flow path. According to the configuration described above, as a link member transfers the torque of a hydraulic cylinder to a compressive force transferring block by using the lever principle during the operation of the hydraulic cylinder, the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder can be proportionately amplified to a pressure necessary for pressurizing the whole area of the molten resin; and as the gate opening/closing means activates an opening/closing block to block the gate when the compression core applies pressure on the whole area of the molten resin, the molten resin can be prevented from flowing backward from the gate to the injection flow path.

Abstract
The present invention relates to plastic glazing having a blackout coating, for use as automotive glass, the plastic glazing comprising: a transparent plastic substrate made of a polycarbonate resin; a coating layer formed on the front surface of the transparent plastic substrate, for improving weather resistance and strength; and a black ceramic painting layer formed on the coating layer and disposed along the edges of the transparent plastic substrate. As an organic-inorganic hybrid silica coating layer is formed on the polycarbonate which is lightweight and easy to handle in comparison with the conventional glass being used and which exhibits excellent mechanical performance, weather resistance and strength can be improved; and as the black ceramic painting layer is blackout coated, the adhesiveness between a vehicle body and plastic glazing can be ensured, and marketability can be increased.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a vehicle muffler, and more particularly, to a vehicle muffler including a housing formed with an inlet and an outlet, for introducing and discharging exhaust gas, at both sides; and a noise reduction part provided in the housing for reducing the noise of the exhaust gas, wherein the housing is composed of an upper housing and a lower housing detachably coupled with the upper housing, and the upper housing and the lower housing are made of one selected from engineering plastics, aluminum, and titanium by injection molding or indentation molding. According to the present invention, the vehicle muffler may be formed to be light-weight and the noise reduction part may be effectively and simply disposed in the housing according to the exhaust emission characteristics of an engine instead of being welded in the housing, since the housing formed of the upper housing and the lower housing is made with one selected from engineering plastics, aluminum, and titanium by injection molding or indentation molding. In addition, final complete products can be produced through a simple assembling process of inserting parts together in the fitting manner, and production costs can be minimized due to the simple structure thereof and the noticeably reduced number of processes compared to that of conventional processes.
