Method and apparatus for producing frozen products
The invention provides a method and an apparatus for producing frozen products using a liquid cooling freezing method, enabling the number of times for replenishing a freezing solvent to be reduced and completely preventing alcoholic odor from occurring. The apparatus 1 for producing frozen products according to the invention includes, in a freezing chamber 2, a freezing tank 3 having a freezing solvent 30 stored therein for immersing therein products and freezing them, gas jetting units 4 for jetting a gas having a temperature of 0° C. or below against the products frozen in the freezing tank 3 to remove the freezing solvent adhering to the products, and a transferring device 5 for transferring the products to be frozen in the freezing chamber 2 in a manner that the products to be frozen are immersed in the freezing solvent 30 in the freezing tank 3 and then lifted from the freezing tank 3 and further the freezing solvent adhering to the products is removed by the gas jetting units 4.

A device and a method which are capable of high-quality freezing of food without reducing the processing efficiency of the freezing. A continuous food freezing device (1) is configured in such a manner that pieces of food (F), which are objects to be frozen and are continuously inserted from an insertion section (2a), are frozen while being conveyed toward a discharge section (2b), the continuous food freezing device (1) comprising: a meshed first conveyor (4) having one end which is located at the insertion section (2a) and conveying the food (F) in a first direction which extends from said end toward the other end; a second conveyor (5) extending along the first conveyor (4) located directly therebelow and conveying the food (F), which drops from the other end of the first conveyor (4), in a second direction which is the opposite direction to the first direction; a cooling liquid tank (8) disposed directly below the second conveyor (5) and containing a cooling liquid (S) for freezing the food (F) which drops from the second conveyor (5); a third conveyor (6) having at least a part which is immersed in the cooling liquid (S) within the cooling liquid tank (8) and conveying the food (F), which drops from the second conveyor (5), while immersing the food (F) in the cooling liquid (S) within the cooling liquid tank (8); and a cooling liquid spray means (9) disposed directly above the first conveyor (4) and spraying the cooling liquid toward the first conveyor (4).
