Abstract

A device for depressurising and draining an aerosol can with a concave base, which device comprises a punch (20) and a base (30) provided with an internal cylindrical wall (31) for accommodating a lower part of the aerosol can with a concave base and a dome provided with perforated sectors (33) connected to a lower part of the cylindrical wall of the base, said dome comprising, at the apex thereof, a tubular housing (35) accommodating said punch and comprising spring means (34) exceeding the profile of the dome, said spring means (34) being configured to hold the base of said can above the punch in the absence of any force applied onto the can in order to push it into the base.

Abstract

The invention relates to a safety cap for an aerosol container, comprising a lower cap element (1) provided with an outer skirt in the lower part thereof, which covers the top of the aerosol container (200), and provided with a button (5) for actuating a diffuser (4), the cap also comprising a pivoting dome (2) covering the lower cap element, which is provided with an upper central opening (20) for the outflow of the product and a side opening (21) for accessing the actuating button, said dome being manoeuvrable between a position that allows free access to the actuating button and a position that masks and prevents access to said button, for which the actuating button is connected, in its lower part, to the lower cap element, by means of a pivoting hinge (53), and comprises, in its upper part, an arm (51) extending towards the inside of the lower cap element, the arm ending in a push member (52) arranged facing a distal end of the diffuser (4) which extends a distal end of an outlet tube (205) of a valve of the housing when the cap is mounted on the diffuser housing, the arm being positioned such that the push member pushes said distal end of the diffuser in a direction perpendicular to the axis of said tube (205) when the actuating button is pushed.
