The present invention proposes a two-wheeled driving toy that operates differently from what has been conventional by using a wheel that rotates around a vertical rotational shaft. The two-wheeled driving toy is equipped with: a vehicle body (2) provided with a power mechanism (5); a pair of vertical rotational shafts (16) that protrude downwards from both the front and back sides of the vehicle body (2) and engage the power mechanism (5); and a pair of wheels (20) that are around the bottoms of the respective vertical rotational shafts (16), have the vertical rotational shafts as axes of rotational symmetry, and have a bottom surface that is an approximately flat cut-bottom solid of revolution . An annular ground-contacting surface (26) is formed between the side surface (24) and bottom surface (22) of the wheels (20).
