Abstract

In an auto cancel mechanism for a turn signal switch device, a click stop mechanism includes a click feeling-generating body formed from an elastic material and supported on a switch case, and a click pin supported on a switch actuator and resiliently pressed against the click feeling-generating body. Since the click feeling-generating body is formed integrally with an elastic stopper part disposed between a guide pin and a front end of a guide groove, the guide pin collides with the elastic stopper part without colliding with the front end of the guide groove, and noise generated by the collision is reduced. Moreover, since the elastic stopper part is formed integrally by utilizing the click feeling-generating body, it is possible to suppress an increase in the number of components and the number of assembly steps.

Abstract

A rocker switch device, wherein each of a pair of shanks (21j, 22j) being in a row on the same axial line together is vertically erected on counterface surfaces at the tips (21d, 22d) of a pair of side walls (21, 22) of a switch case (20), and a bearing hole (32h) for the pair of shanks to be rotatably fitted therethrough is formed penetrating a control knob (30), with projections (21t, 22t) coming in contact with a support (10) under pressure for preventing backlash in the switch case provided on the outer surfaces of the pair of side walls, a support pin (25) for causing each of both ends to come in contact with the tips of the pair of shanks fitted into the bearing hole (32h). Thus, even when the rocker switch device is used under a vibration-prone environment, the problem of an erroneous switch operation, etc., attributable to backlash in the switch case is prevented as the projection for backlash prevention vertically erected on the side wall of the case is brought into contact with the support under pressure, and further the deformation of the side wall caused by contact under pressure is reliably restricted and switch reliability is increased.

Abstract

In a joystick device where a tilting operation direction of an operation shaft is detected based on positional change of a magnet relative to a magnetic sensor, the magnet being moved with tilting of the operation shaft, a slider is arranged between a base facing a board fixed to a case and a magnet holder to which the operation shaft is swingably coupled; the magnet holder is joined to the slider such that the slider guides relative movement of the holder in a first linear direction orthogonal to the axis of the operation shaft but prevents relative movement of the holder in a second linear direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a guide mechanism configured to guide movement of the slider in the second direction is provided between the slider and the base. This prevents variation in the detection accuracy regardless of tilting of the shaft.

Abstract

In a turn signal control device for a vehicle having an automatic canceling function, a switch operating element is carried on a pivot shaft mounted in a fixed switch case so that the switch operating element can be returned and pushed-in between a returned position and a pushed-in position. The switch operating element is swingable at the returned position between a neutral position and a left-turn indicating position and a right-turn indicating position. The switch operating element is pushed-in to the pushed-in position by push-in operation at the returned position. The switch operating element is resiliently urged toward the neutral position and there turned position. A winker switch is operatively connected to the switch operating element so as to break the connection of a left-turn indicating means or a right-turn indicating means to a flasher unit in response to push-in of the switch operating element to the pushed-in position. Thus, a switch and an electric circuit for manual canceling are not required to improve reliability.

Abstract

A control knob is supported on a switch base via a first pivotal shaft. A movable contact holder holds a movable contact and is supported on the switch base via a second pivotal shaft substantially parallel with the first pivotal shaft. The movable contact holder is formed with first and second arms between which a sliding surface is formed. A control plunger sliding on the sliding surface is slidably fitted to the control knob. A return spring urges the control plunger in a direction to abut on the sliding surface. The control plunger is arranged such that, when the control knob tilts to the first and second operating positions, the tip end of the control plunger moves on the sliding surface to left and right sides with respect to a plane extending between axes of the first and second pivotal shafts, and such that the repulsive force of the return spring constantly urges the control knob toward the first operating position.
