Process for producing a toothbrush having a bristle area design
A process for producing toothbrushes covered with bristles in an anchor-free manner, in which a tuft of bristles with cylindrical bristles and/or pointed bristles is introduced into a receiving recess of a mold of a bristle-providing machine and, by means of a profiled pin guided in the receiving recess, force is applied to the end facing the pin of the bristles of the tuft of bristles for the alignment thereof, so that the bristles of the tuft of bristles are aligned by means of an end face of the profiled pin and, as a result, form the topography that complements the topography of the end face of the profiled pin, wherein the profiled pin has on the end face that acts on the bristles a discontinuous surface, which forms multiple levels. This achieves a bristle area configuration that has multiple areas of use. A correspondingly produced toothbrush is also described.
The invention concerns a toothbrush with a handle and a bristle-carrying head part, which are connected to each other by a neck part, the head part having a multiplicity of tufts of bristles consisting of bristles. An anchor is oriented at right angles to the longitudinal axis. Two or more tufts of bristles have a bristle tuft half with bristle ends standing up higher in relation to the bristle ends of the other bristle tuft half.

The transmission according to the invention for an electric toothbrush serves for the transmission and reforming of a rotational movement provided by an electric motor into a particularly careful and effective cleaning movement of a cleaning element. The ratio of the distance between the longitudinal mid-axis of an output shaft and the longitudinal mid-axis of a drive shaft of the transmission and of the distance between the longitudinal mid-axis of a shaft driving a cam of the transmission and the longitudinal mid-axis of the cam amounts to at least 10:1.
The invention relates to a handle body (1a..1g), in particular of a body care article, such as a toothbrush, comprising a handle part (4a..4g), a neck part (3a..3g) and a head part (2a..2g), wherein the handle body (1a..1g) comprises a first and second material component (7, 8) of thermoplastic. The first and second material components (7, 8) have a common injection point (10) which is arranged outside a mould-separating line (12) formed by the mould separation.
The brush according to the invention has a bristle carrier (12), which is produced by injection moulding, and bristles (16), which are produced from a bristle material (62) likewise by injection moulding. The bristle carrier (12) is provided with at least one distributing channel (44) for the bristle material (62). The bristles (16) are formed integrally with the bristle material (62) in the distribution channel (44).

A toothbrush has a removable end cap at its free end area directed away from the bristles, which end cap closes off an inner space of a grip element. The end cap accommodates an electrical control element, in particular a potentiometer, which can be adjusted via an adjustment element arranged rotatably on the end cap. The toothbrush also comprises an electrical power consumption unit, in particular an electric motor, which is designed to set the bristles in vibration. The energy supply from an energy reservoir arranged in the interior to the electrical power consumption unit can be adjusted continuously by means of the control element, as a result of which the vibration intensity of the bristles can be steplessly adjusted.
The invention relates to a method for producing toothbrushes, the bristles of which are mounted without being anchored. In said method, a tuft (22) of cylindrical bristles (39) and/or pointed bristles (40) is introduced into a receiving cavity (64) in a tool (60) of a bristle mounting machine, and a profiled pin (66) guided within the receiving cavity (64) is used to act on that end of the bristles (39, 40) of the tuft (22) which faces the pin (66) in order to orient the bristles, the bristles (39, 40) of the tuft (22) being oriented using a face (101) of the profiled pin (66) so as to provide the bristles with a topography that is complementary to the topography of the face (101) of the profiled pin (66). Said method is characterized in that the profiled pin (66) has a non-constant surface (105) forming multiple planes (109) on the face (103) acting on the bristles (39, 40). The obtained bristle area design thus has multiple useful surfaces (67). An accordingly produced toothbrush (8) is also described.
The present invention concerns a process for producing toothbrushes covered with bristles in an anchor-free manner, in which a tuft of bristles (22) with cylindrical bristles (39) and/or pointed bristles (40) is introduced into a receiving recess (64) of a mold (60) of a bristle-providing machine and, by means of a profiled pin (66) guided in the receiving recess (64), force is applied to the end facing the pin (66) of the bristles (39, 40) of the tuft of bristles (22) for the alignment thereof, so that the bristles (39, 40) of the tuft of bristles (22) are aligned by means of an end face (101) of the profiled pin (66) and, as a result, form the topography that complements the topography of the end face (101) of the profiled pin (66), wherein the profiled pin (66) has on the end face (103) that acts on the bristles (39, 40) a discontinuous surface (105), which forms multiple levels (107). This achieves a bristle area configuration that has multiple areas of use (67). A correspondingly produced toothbrush (8) is also described.
The invention relates to a toothbrush comprising a handle and a bristle-supporting head part (10) which are connected to each other by means of a neck part (15). The head part (10) has a plurality of tufts (20) consisting of bristles (21, 23). An anchor (45) is oriented at a right angle from the longitudinal axis (15). Two or more tufts (20) of bristles include one half (35) of a tuft having bristle ends (37) that are longer than the bristle ends (38) of the other half (36) of the tuft.
