Abstract
A housing assembly for a contactor, wherein the housing assembly comprises a frame made of ferromagnetic material surrounding a contact chamber for separable contacts of the contactor, and an encloser made of insulative material at least in sections enveloping the frame internally and externally, wherein the encloser comprises at least one pocket for receiving a blow-out magnet of the contactor, wherein the frame is at least sectionwise exposed for contact in the at least one pocket. The frame improves the mechanical stability of the housing assembly and offers a suitable path for conducting the magnetic flux from the blow-out magnet. Further, the present invention relates to an electrical switching device with such a housing assembly.

Abstract
An arc quenching system includes an arc-extinguishing unit and an arc-blowing magnetic unit. The arc-extinguishing unit extinguishing an arc discharge produced upon a switching operation of a contact pair from a closed state to an open state. The contact pair having a static contact and a movable contact which is movable relative to the static contact between the closed state and the open state in which the movable contact is spaced apart from the static contact by a gap. The arc-blowing magnetic unit creates a magnetic field having a plurality of magnetic field lines that cross a gap region of the contact pair along a predetermined magnetic field direction. The arc-blowing magnetic unit creates the magnetic field lines with an orientation based on an electrical polarity of the static contact and a positioning of the arc-extinguishing unit to magnetically blow the arc discharge toward the arc-extinguishing unit.

Abstract
A seal housing for an electrical device comprises a base, a cover adapted to cover an inwardly facing side of the base to form a closed chamber for accommodating components of the electrical device, and a sealing plate adapted to partially cover an outwardly facing side of the base. The sealing plate has an outward side with a profile that is shaped to divert fluid or fluid condensate formed at the outward side of the sealing plate.

Abstract
An arrangement for an electric switching device is disclosed. The arrangement for an electric switching device comprises a switching unit having a first switching position and a second switching position, a restoring element exerting a restoring force on the switching unit in the second switching position, and a return spring fastened to the switching unit and exerting a counterforce on the switching unit. The restoring force is directed toward the first switching position, while the counterforce acts opposite to the restoring force.
