Abstract

Abstract

In the method for transferring blister packs from a first and a second pick position to a common place position, the blister packs in the first and second pick positions are arranged next to each other in a row and are each outwardly offset from the longitudinal center plane of the transfer unit. Then the two blister packs are picked successively by two suction arms and placed from above in the place position, which is in the area of the longitudinal center plane. After the placing step, the blister packs in the place positions have a rotation of 180° around their centers in comparison to their orientation in the pick positions; and in addition the blister packs acquire a lateral offset during the transfer.

Abstract

In the device and the method for transferring blister packs, two blister packs are first transferred from a stamping station to an intermediate place element and then from the intermediate place element to a single-file conveying means. The two blister packs are placed on the intermediate place element next to each other in a row on either side of a longitudinal center plane of the device. During the transfer from the intermediate storage element to the conveying means, both blister packs are picked from above from their intermediate place positions and also placed from above in the common final place position. When in the final place position, each blister pack has the same side facing up as in the corresponding intermediate place position but now with a rotation of 180° around its center. In addition, the blister packs acquire a lateral offset from the longitudinal center plane during the transfer.

Abstract

A sealing device for sealing a lid material to sealing areas of a blister web comprises a first, heated sealing tool and a second sealing tool arranged opposite each other and movable relative to each other. Abstract

The method for inserting cotton wads into containers uses a wad transport unit, which comprises two star wheels, each having three wad holders. The two star wheels are mounted rotatably on the same rotational axis but with an offset from each other, and each star wheel is driven by its own separate drive means. During rotation of the star wheels, one of the three wad holders of each star wheel is horizontally shifted in such a way that the three wad holders of each star wheel are arranged in a straight line and are thus located above three containers to be filled with the wads.

Abstract

A sealing tool for a sealing machine has a heat-conductive and normally heated support plate having an inner face and a heat-conductive seal plate having an outer face bearing in surface contact on the support-plate inner face. A central attachment extends between the plates across the faces at a point location and substantially prevents relative movement of the plates parallel to the faces at this point location. Outer attachments spaced outward from the central attachment press the faces together with a limited force such that the faces can slide parallel to each other at the outer attachments.

Abstract

An input device delivers objects one at a time to a transfer station next to a conveyor extending in a transport direction. A cassette defines an upwardly open stack well shaped to receive the objects and has a floor. The cassette is held in an upstream stack-forming position underneath the input device while the input device drops the objects one at a time into the well, and the floor of the cassette is stepped downward each time an object is dropped into the well by a distance generally equal to a vertical height of the object. When a predetermined number of the objects has been dropped into the well, the cassette is displaced downstream out of the upstream stack-forming position synchronously with the conveyor at the transport speed while the stack of objects in the well is pushed transversely of the direction out of the well into the conveyor.
