Abstract

A hybrid current sensor assembly has a conductor, Hall core, Hall sensor, shunt terminal, and a microprocessor. The conductor has a first terminating end and a second terminating end. The Hall core generates a magnetic field from current flow in the conductor. The Hall sensor measures potential difference between first terminating end and the second terminating end of the conductor based on the magnetic field applied to the Hall core. The shunt terminal is positioned on a central portion of the conductor. The microprocessor is connected to the shunt terminal to measure the current flow in the conductor.

Abstract

A printed circuit board may have an enhanced heat radiation function and bending strength by replacing the copper film of a generally used copper-deposited substrate with an aluminum film, and a method for fabricating such a printed circuit board includes the steps of: (a) preparing aluminum foil; (b) adjoining the aluminum foil to both sides of an insulating layer; (c) forming through holes penetrating the aluminum foil and insulating layer; (d) metalizing the parts exposed on the inside of the through holes in the metal layer; (e) substituting the surfaces of the aluminum foil with a zinc film; (f) plating a metal film on the surfaces of the metal layer and zinc film; and (g) plating a metal film on the surface of the metal film. Using the above described printed circuit board and the method for fabricating the same, a polyimide adhesive is used to compensate for the deformation of the substrate due to the thermal expansion coefficient of aluminum, so that the substrate is prevented from being broken even in a severe environment where vibration and temperature are abruptly changed, thus improving the reliability of the product.

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a joint connector assembly including first and second connectors connected to each other by a circuit board and connected to third connectors by connection terminals. The circuit board is mounted at the center of the third connectors below the first and second connectors located in an upper region of a main body housing and is integrally formed with the main body housing in a lower region thereof. The upper region of the main body housing defines first and second connector receptacles for the first and second connectors. A cover member is attached to a lower surface of the circuit board to cover the circuit board. The joint connector assembly has a reduced volume because the connectors are connected to one another without lines and all the connectors are inserted in the main body housing, allowing the joint connector assembly to be installed in a small space.
