Abstract

The invention relates to a solution for leaching precious metals contained in a mineral, as well as the use thereof and the leaching process in which said solution is applied. The solution for leaching precious metals comprises NaCl, a non-toxic source of cyanide that can perform both the oxidation and the complexing of the metals, and at least one base for providing the alkaline pH for the solution.

Abstract

The invention relates to a vertical, multi-stage pneaumatic system for the continuous processing of solids using air, gases and/or vapours, said system being formed by devices that are arranged vertically on top of one another and interconnected by means of downpipes connected by flanges. The raw material is fed into the hopper by means of a bucket elevator. The system is arranged on a support column and the devices are attached to said column. The flow of air or gas can be recirculated for the purposes of preheating or pretreating the solids. Depending on the process chosen, the air can be supplied to the device in a cold state, being connected to vortex tubes, or a hot state. The system is suitable for drying grain and seed solids, toasting grains and seeds, mixing solid particles, and cooling.
