The invention relates to an electrocatalytic electrode comprising a coating film on an electrically conductive base substrate that includes a non-stoichiometric mixed oxide dispersed in the film, including a mixture of iron and vanadium, in a metal-organic matrix, the organic part of which includes the mixed oxide dispersed therein. Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the depolymerization of a polyurethane mass, preferably thermoset polyurethane. The method comprises four main steps: i) mixing the polyurethane mass with a depolymerization reaction medium comprising an ionic liquid in a proportion equal to or greater than 50% w/w with respect to the total weight of said medium, a superbase as a catalyst, and a nucleophilic agent in a proportion equal to or less than 15% w/w with respect to the total weight of said medium, subjecting said mixture to a temperature between 50-100°C for between 2 minutes and 10 hours; ii) adding a mass of a protic molecular solvent in an amount between 4 and 40 times the weight of the depolymerization reaction medium; iii) subjecting the mixture from step ii) to a temperature between 20-60°C for at least 1 hour; and iv) separating the fractions obtained in step iii), namely, a semisolid fraction comprising at least a polyol mass for reuse in the synthesis of a new polyurethane, and a single-phase liquid fraction comprising at least the ionic liquid and the basic catalyst, for their reuse in a new process for polyurethane depolymerization.

Adaptive optics method for measuring and compensating for aberrations with a reconfigurable optical element (1), in which one area (11) of the element is used as part of the measurement subsystem and another area (12) is used as part of the compensation subsystem, thus avoiding the need to use two physically different elements to carry out those tasks. As the reconfigurable optical element, it is possible to use any optical element, component or device which makes it possible to freely introduce controlled changes, which are variable in space and time, in amplitude, in phase or in both amplitude and phase, in the light beam incident on said element, for example a spatial light modulator based on a liquid crystal display.

Abstract

The method consists in causing the beam (2) whose aberration is to be compensated for to impact upon a TN-LCD screen (1), applying, to each pixel of the screen, the appropriate voltage level for modifying the birefringence thereof, such that a change in the polarization state of the incident wave is induced. The aberration is compensated for in two steps: static compensation equal to the mean temporal value of the aberration of the wavefront to be corrected; and time-dependent dynamic compensation of the residual aberration that persists in the wavefront after the aforementioned static compensation has been completed. The device comprises a dynamic-compensation submodule consisting of a TN-LCD liquid crystal screen (1) placed between a pair of retardation plates (4-5) and two linear polarizers (3-6) and a submodule consisting of an optional optical element (8), which may be static or dynamic, of refractive, diffractive or hybrid type, which are coupled together.
