PRODUCTION OF A BIOSURFACTANT EXTRACT FROM CORN STEEP LIQUOR
The invention describes a method for obtaining biosurfactants from the liquid fraction of corn steep liquors by means of physical separation processes comprising centrifuging and dialysis. The biosurfactant extract obtained is able to reduce the surface tension of a medium by more than 16 units and has a critical micelle concentration (CMC) of less than 0.13 g/L. This is the first time that it has been demonstrated that a biosurfactant extract can be obtained from the aqueous fraction of corn steep liquors by means of physical separation processes, eliminating the use of liquid-liquid and solid-liquid extraction processes.

Abstract
The present invention provides a system for manipulating matter by means of two acoustic confocal vortex beams (2, 3). More specifically, the invention relates to a system formed by at least one acoustic emitter that generates the vortex beams (2, 3) such that their topology charge and frequency differ.
