Abstract

The present invention concerns a process for preparing in situ an aqueous gel ink with fixed color comprising the following steps: (i) preparing a gel-based matrix of aqueous ink comprising reducing agent chosen in the group consisting of citric acid and/or derivatives of citric acid, (ii) adding a solution of gold salts, (iii) adding iron powder, (iv) adding polyvinylpyrrolidone to obtain an aqueous gel ink with fixed color, wherein the steps (ii) and (iii) can be interchanged. The present invention also relates to an aqueous gel ink with fixed color obtained according to the process of the invention, comprising citric acid and derivatives, gold nanoparticles, and iron powder. The invention finally concerns a writing instrument comprising an aqueous gel ink with fixed color according to the invention.

The present invention relates to compositions (self-thermally) curable on demand under the triggering action of UV-visible to near-infrared irradiation of moderate intensity, method of using same for accelerated photopolyaddition of cyclic ether-amine resins or ultrafast dark curing of cyclic ether-amine resins, and articles obtained by such method. Abstract

The invention relates to an adsorbent organic-inorganic hybrid material capable of adsorbing metal cations, preferably radioactive Co, Cs and Sr cations, from nuclear effluents, said material comprising a clay support having a layered laminar structure, characterized in that the clay is chemically modified by: - grafting at least one side chain that contains at least one organic molecule capable of establishing a covalent bond with an Si atom in one of said layers, the side chain also containing at least one functional group capable of complexing an aforementioned metal cation from an effluent; - and/or inserting at least one organic molecule of an intercalating agent into the space between two of said nanoparticles, said intercalating agent containing a cationic group that establishes an electrostatic link with a negative charge of an aforementioned layer of nanoparticles as well as an anionic group capable of establishing an ionic link with a metal cation from an effluent. The invention also relates to a method for decontaminating a nuclear effluent by means of a solid adsorbent organic-inorganic hybrid material according to the invention, in which method the effluent to be decontaminated is brought into contact with said hybrid material in order to adsorb metal cations contained in the effluent, preferably radioactive isotopes of Co, Cs and Sr cations, onto the hybrid material.
