Abstract
A method for making a bicycle saddle includes the steps of placing a cover onto a mold cavity of a female mold; pouring a pressure-loading layer of a temper Foam material into the mold cavity; placing a first male mold into the mold cavity for defining a first closed portion and maintaining the mold in such closed condition a first period of time for foaming the temper foam material into the pressure-loading layer; removing the first male mold; pouring a supporting layer of an ordinary foam material into the mold cavity; closing the mold cavity by the second male mold with a shell coupled thereon for defining a second closed portion and maintaining the mold in such closed condition a second period of time for foaming the ordinary foam material into the supporting layer, and removing the second male mold to extract a finished bicycle saddle.

Abstract
A bicycle saddle assembly comprises a main body, a suspension member and a supporting rail. The suspension member is disposed between the main body and the suspension rail so that the main body is mounted on a bicycle in an indirect way and, therefore, the bicycle saddle assembly can provide an outstanding suspending performance to reduce shocks and vibrations transmitted to the main body from the seat post of a bicycle.

Abstract
An article includes a body having at least a holding or resting surface, and a plurality of spaced-apart fine pillars made of a resilient and deformable plastic material and projected from the holding or resting surface of the body. Each of the spaced-apart fine pillars includes a body portion with a bore defining a longitudinal axis, a base end and a free end. The base end of the fine pillar is integrally connected with the holding or resting surface the body. The body portion of the fine pillar extends from the base end along the longitudinal axis to the free end in a predetermined height. The fine pillars can be able to deform elastically when subjected to even a minimum pressure to provide the anti-skidding, shock-absorbing and breathable capacities.

Abstract
A load-bearing frame of a bicycle saddle comprises a base and a rim surrounding the base. The base is made of a first plastic material of predetermined rigidity and includes a relatively narrow anterior portion and a relatively wider posterior portion. The base further has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a peripheral edge. The rim is made of a second plastic material of rigidity being smaller than that of the first plastic material. The rim has an inner side coupled with the periphery edge of the base and an outer side extending upwardly from the inner side to define a first receiving space with a first upper opening.

Abstract
A main body of a bicycle saddle includes an elastomer provided on a top surface thereof with a recess, a cover layer covering the top surface and having a concave area corresponding to the recess, and an auxiliary functional piece embedded in the concave area. The main body is manufactured by attaching a contacting surface of the cover layer to a mold cavity of a forming mold by vacuum suction to make a protrusion of the inner wall or a piece material glued to the contacting surface and including the auxiliary functional piece prop up the cover layer to form the concave area, forming the elastomer in the mold cavity, and embedding the auxiliary functional piece in the concave area or exposing the auxiliary functional piece on the contacting surface.

Abstract
A cover for a bicycle saddle comprises a basic layer and a first auxiliary layer. The basic layer is made of a first plastic material and has a top surface with a first friction factor. The first auxiliary layer is made of a second plastic material with a second friction factor and is directly disposed on a predetermined area of the top surface of the basic layer. The second friction factor is smaller than the first friction factor. A method is provided for making a cover as above.

Abstract
A shell for a bicycle saddle has a groove opened through top and bottom surfaces thereof, a narrow anterior portion having a front edge, and a wide posterior portion having a rear edge and divided by an imaginary longitudinal axis passing through the front and rear edges and the groove into left and right regions where two sockets are located, respectively. The groove has a longitudinal section extending along the axis, and a transverse section extending from a rear end of the longitudinal section to the left and right regions so as to form two elastic wings adjacent to the groove. Each socket has a connecting sheet and an insertion block and extends from rear and lateral edges of the wide posterior portion to a position under the bottom surface to form a space therebetween. As a result, the shell has great elasticity and structural strength.
