Abstract

The invention relates to a sensing device for carrying out a method for sensing workpieces, and also to the method itself, in which, by means of conveying means (6), a first workpiece (8, 8') is fed to a sensing device, by way of which a top side (10) of the workpiece (8, 8') is at least partially sensed. Here, in a first method step for the further sensing of the first workpiece (8, 8'), after at least partial sensing of its top side (10), the first workpiece (8, 8') is fed by means of the conveying means (6) to a first turning member (16) with which the first workpiece fed thereto in order to be turned is then turned such that the first workpiece (8, 8') is fed again in the turned state by means of the conveying means (6) for the at least partial sensing of its underside (10'), and so, after at least partial sensing of its underside (10'), it is conveyed by means of the conveying means (6) in a conveying direction (30, 32) away from the sensing device (12), wherein, during the first method step, in a second method step for sensing a second workpiece (22), the second workpiece (22) following the first workpiece (8) is fed to the sensing device (12) and, after at least partial sensing of its top side (24), is fed by means of the conveying means (6) to a second turning member (20) with which the second workpiece (22) fed thereto in order to be turned is turned such that the latter is fed again, in the turned state, to the sensing device (12) by means of the conveying device (6) for the at least partial sensing of its underside (24').

Abstract

The invention relates to a conveying device (2) for conveying workpieces (4, 6, 8), in particular circuit boards, in the conveying direction (T) along a conveying line. The conveying device (2) has first conveying means (18) and second conveying means (22) for the workpiece conveyance along a first and second part (20, 24) of the conveying line (10),workpieces (4, 6, 8) being fed to the first part of the line (20) via the second part of the line (24). The invention is characterized by separation means (26), which, at least in some sections along the first portion (20), separate a workpiece (4, 6, 8) from a workpiece (6, 8) following the workpiece (4, 6, 8) in the conveying direction, wherein said separation means (26) have at least one spacer (28), which can be moved in such a way and controlled by control means in such a way that, after the workpiece (4, 6, 8) has passed the initial position (30), the spacer (28) changes to an active mode, in which the spacer (28) follows the workpiece (4, 6, 8) arranged downstream in the conveying direction (T) and, in the process, forms a minimum distance between the workpiece (4, 6, 8) and the workpiece (6, 8) arranged downstream of said workpiece (4, 6 8) in the conveying direction T and, upon reaching the end position (32), changes to an inactive mode, in which the spacer (28) returns to the initial position (30).

Abstract

A conveyor device for the conveying workpieces, specifically circuit boards. The conveyor device is equipped with a primary and secondary conveyance for conveying the workpiece along a first or second partial path of the conveyance path. Workpieces are fed to the first partial path via the second partial path. Separators operate along the first partial path to separate one workpiece from a trailing workpiece. The Separators feature at least one spacer which can be moved and displaced by a control. After the workpiece passes the starting position, the spacer switches into an active mode, in which it is placed behind the workpiece and tracks it, thereby forming a minimum spacing between the workpiece and the trailing workpiece, and upon reaching the ending position, the spacer switches into an inactive mode, in which the spacer returns to the starting position.
