Abstract

The invention relates to a heating element (7) for a furnace, which heating element comprises a sapphire glass tube (8) for receiving a heating coil (17) inside the sapphire glass tube (8). The sapphire glass tube (8) is gas-tightly connected to a borosilicate tube (14) and also to a quartz glass tube (15). The electrical connections at the ends lead through in a gas-tightly compressed manner. According to the invention, the tube element is made of sapphire (8) and is gas-tightly joined by transition glasses and glass solder to compensate for the different coefficients of thermal expansion. The joined elements (14, 15) are located outside the firing chamber (2) so that they ensure operational reliability in the case of a thermal effect of up to 500°C. Furthermore, for firing/sintering the ceramic element (4) with shortwave infrared radiation in the range of from 0.8 µm to 2.5 µm, the heating element (7) has stable optical, electrical and mechanical properties and thus high-quality, permanently uniform firing and sintering results are ensured with significantly shortened firing-sintering times. No changes to the surface of the heating elements (7) occur which are caused by chemical influences or evaporations from the fired-sintered elements. No contamination of the sintered objects and the firing chamber occurs which is caused by the heating element (7). The heating element (7) can be used at an operating temperature up to 1900°C and thus ensures use over long uptimes.

Abstract

Artificial teeth are inserted in a denture base in order to produce a denture. The artificial teeth used according to the invention have an outer part (12), which is visible in the inserted state. An inner part (14) is arranged in the denture base (20) in the inserted state. A virtual data record of the artificial tooth, which corresponds to the outer side of the tooth, helps to define a virtual gum line in a region of the inner part of the tooth, which is undercut-free. In order to produce a denture base, cavities (22) are created in the denture base. In order to be able to create the cavities (22) with the help of automatic production methods such as CAD/CAM methods, the artificial teeth are virtually subtracted from a virtual denture base (20) such that a cavity edge (24) is defined, which corresponds to the virtual gum line (10).

Abstract

Artificial teeth are inserted into a denture base for producing a denture. The artificial teeth used according to the invention have an outer part (12), which is visible in the inserted state. An inner part (14) is arranged within the denture base (20) in the inserted state. According to the invention, a tooth edge (10) with a change of angle is embodied between the outer part (12) and the inner part (14). For producing a denture base, cavities (22) are generated in the denture base. In order to be able to produce the cavities (22) with the aid of automated production methods such as CAD/CAM methods, there is a virtual subtraction of the artificial teeth from a virtual denture base (20). As a result of this, a cavity edge (24) which corresponds to the tooth edge (10) is generated. The cavity edge (24) is used during the production of the cavity (22) by a CAD/CAM method for setting the tool movement.
