Abstract

A wave power plant (1) which comprises: a semisubmersible platform (2) provided with at least one longitudinal caisson (4) which extends from bow to stern of the platform (2); a wave power machine (3) mounted on the platform (2) and comprising: ○ a gantry (20) mounted on the caisson (4), ○ at least one float (21, 22) arranged to allow the wave energy to be converted into mechanical energy, the float (21, 22) being mounted so as to be able to rotate on an axle (24) secured to the gantry (20), the float (21, 22) having a bow and a stern (26), ○ at least one deflector (34) mounted on the platform (2) and having an upward face (35) which extends facing and at a distance from the stern (6) of the float (21, 22) so as to define with the latter a throat (36) to channel and deflect the wave vertically.

Abstract

The invention relates to a wave energy plant (1) that includes: a semi-submersible platform (2) provided with at least one longitudinal casing (4) that extends from a bow (7) to a stern (8) of the platform (2); and a wave energy machine (3) mounted on the platform (2). The machine (3) comprises: a gantry (17) transversely mounted on the casing (4) on the bow of the platform (2); floats (18, 19) arranged so as to enable the wave energy to be converted into mechanical energy, i.e. at least one primary float (18) and at least one secondary float (19), longitudinally offset relative to the primary float (18); and a transformer (34). The platform (2) comprises at least one stabilizer aileron (12) extending transversely within the lower edges (10) of the casings (4) of the platform (2).
