Provided are a sequencing batch type or batch type water-filtering apparatus and a method of operating the apparatus. There are provided a valve control system, a bidet using the same, and a valve control method. The valve control system includes a latch valve controlling a stream of water in a pipe; a flow rate sensor measuring a flow rate in the pipe; and a valve control device controlling the operation of the latch valve. Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition having an anti-inflammatory activity, comprising extracts or fractions of Chrysanthemum boreale Makino. Since the composition show the prophylactic and therapeutic effects on inflammatory diseases, in particular, atopic dermatitis, it can be used as a pharmaceutical composition, and also applied to various fields, including quasi-drugs, cosmetic compositions, foods, and water softeners.
A rotary particle sensor assembly and an air cleaner having the rotary particle sensor assembly are disclosed. Particularly, in the present invention, regardless of the orientation of the air cleaner, the rotary particle sensor assembly can always be oriented in the direction of gravity. The rotary particle sensor assembly includes a particle sensor, which measures the pollution level of air drawn into the air cleaner. The particle sensor is supported in the air cleaner so as to be rotatable using a rotating shaft and has a weight at a predetermined position. Thus, the particle sensor can always be oriented in the direction of gravity by the weight regardless of the orientation of the air cleaner. Therefore, the present invention ensures the accuracy of measurement of the pollution level of air.

Disclosed are a composition for the prophylaxis of influenza viral infection comprising a sumac extract, an air filter coated with the same, and an air cleaner comprising the air filter. Having high inhibitory activity against influenza virus, the composition comprising a sumac extract can be applied to the prevention of influenza viral infection. Also, the filter coated with the composition can remove influenza viruses from the air so that it can be employed in an air cleaner for the prophylaxis of influenza viral infection.
