Methods and systems are provided for monitoring and controlling remote lift devices, such as elevators or escalators, by using machine vision or similar technologies to correlate real-life events with code events data from lift device controllers. Once there is a mapping between code events data with real-life life device events, the this mapping can be used to remotely monitor and control remote lift devices that use the same code events data software. The remote monitoring and control of remote lift devices can be combined with sensors on the lift devices using computer vision or similar technologies. Continuous monitoring of code events data with real-life events can be used to further refine the mapping, or to update the mapping if the software used in the elevator controllers changes.
Systems and methods are provided for monitoring one or more conveyance devices, such as elevators and escalators. A server obtains maintenance data, inspection data and performance data about a given conveyance device via a web portal. At least a portion of this information is in a first format. The server reformats this portion of information into a second format using a mapping table, outputting reformatted data. The server populates a graphical user interface (GUI) with the reformatted code events. The GUI is accessible by another computing device over the Internet.
A respiration device is provided configured to kill infectious virus or other air borne contagion before it enters the user's airways. The respiration device comprises a wearable mask portion, an evacuation filter in fluid connection to the wearable mask portion; and at least one UV (ultraviolet) cartridge in fluid connection to the wearable mask portion. The UV cartridge comprises a housing having an inlet at a first end and an outlet at a second end opposite the first end; a series of UV bulbs located within the housing; and a powering means. Ambient air enters the respirator device through the inlet and is subject to UV radiation emitted from the series of UV bulbs such that the ambient air becomes sterilized air. Sterilized air exits the UV cartridge and enters the wearable mask portion via the outlet. A user is able to inhale the sterilized air entering the mask portion and exhale the used air through the evacuation filter.
Typically a technician is physically present to investigate a malfunction of an elevator system. Devices, systems and methods are provided for actively monitoring one or more lift devices, such as elevators and escalators. A computing system for electrically controlling an elevator controller, includes: a field board electrically connected to an elevator controller, and the field board communicates with a computing platform device, which in turn is connected to a server over the Internet. The field board includes relay switches that are electrically connected to the elevator controller. The server sends poking commands that triggers a relay switch to open or close, which causes the elevator controller to generate a call signal to move the elevator to an upper or a lower floor. If the elevator does not move according to a poking command, then a malfunction is reported.

Elevators and escalators produce code event data, and also have associated maintenance data and callback data. This data is collected and stored in different formats for different types of elevators and escalators, as well as their respective controller devices. Systems and methods are provided that include elevator controllers that transmit code events to a business partner by means of a web services application. The code events data comprising elevator performance data that is collected and stored by the elevator controllers in different formats, and the different formats correspond to different types of the elevator controllers. The business partner obtains the code events data, uniformalizes the code events data, and presents the code events data by means of a web application. Other user devices, via a mobile web application, can access the uniformalized data and, initiate and control callbacks for a given elevator.
