Abstract

A vibration-damping device (1) is provided with a partition member (40) and a diaphragm (50), which are mounted to an insulator (30). The partition member (40) is provided with a lower holder (41) which is mounted to the insulator (30) and an elastic diaphragm member (43) which is mounted to the lower holder (41). A first orifice passage (45) is formed in the lower holder (41), and a second orifice passage (46) is formed in the gap between the elastic diaphragm member (43) and the displacement prevention section (41g) of the lower holder (41). When the amplitude of vibration is greater than a predetermined amplitude, the gap between the elastic diaphragm member (43) and the displacement prevention section (41g) is closed by the elastic diaphragm member (43). As a result of this configuration, vibration in different frequency regions can be damped by the two types of the orifice passages (45, 46) without increasing the number of parts.

Abstract

A bush (20) includes a base material (45) that is disposed at a vehicle body (12), an inter ring (48) that is integrally disposed at the base material (45), and a surface layer (51) that is disposed inside the inter ring (48). The inter ring (48) is arranged along an opening (47) in such a manner as to surround the opening (47). The surface layer (51) includes an insertion hole (52) and is integrally formed from a self-adhesive elastic material into a thin wall shape. A stabilizer rod (14) is inserted into the insertion hole (52).

Abstract

An antivibration rubber device provided between a vibration source and a vehicle body is characterized by being provided with a first mounting member (11) which is mounted to the vibration source side, an elastic member (13) which is closely attached to the surface of the first mounting member (11) and has a step formed at the end thereof on the vibration source side, and a second mounting member (12) which is integrally coupled to the first mounting member (11) via the elastic member (13) and mounted to the vehicle body side, thereby suppressing the occurrence of a crack in the elastic member of the antivibration rubber device and improving durability enabling long-term use.

Abstract

A vibration-insulating rubber composition which comprises: a rubber component (A) that consists of an isoprene-based rubber; a rubber component (B) that consists of a butadiene-based rubber; carbon black that is present mainly in the rubber component (B); and silica that is present mainly in the rubber component (A). The rubber composition exhibits improved durability without suffering from deterioration of vibration-insulation characteristics.
