A magnetic locking mechanism which includes a locking pin having a ferromagnetic upper surface or aspect, a locking receptacle having a shaft suitable for receiving the pin, the shaft intersecting with a transverse opening whereby a portion of the pin will be received within a portion of the transverse opening, and a key comprising an upper grasping portion and a lower portion made of ferromagnetic material which is attracted to the locking pin ferromagnetic upper surface. The magnetic locking mechanism may be used in combination with a wall mountable bracket. The bracket may include a rear plate, upper front and rear flanges for retaining one or more bottles’ and one or more pairs of base flanges. Each flange in a pair of base flanges is spaced laterally from the other except for the presence of a bridge between them. On the bridge is a protuberance which is preferably at least partly received within a well of a bottle to limit movement of the bottle bottom.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a flexible solid article comprising a water-soluble polymer, particularly a flexible solid article in the form of a sheet which provides improved dissolution. The present inventors have found that when a flexible solid unit dose article comprises an anionic surfactant system including specific amounts of an alkyl taurate surfactant it provides for accelerated dissolution of the article comprising a water-soluble polymer while maintaining structural integrity during storage and handling. It was also found that the flexible solid unit dose article was storage stable and provided improved cleaning performance.

Abstract

The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions. More particularly, the present invention relates to a flexible solid unit dose article that provides a cleaning composition on dissolution. There is a need to provide a 'eco-friendly' detergent product in flexible solid format, that provides cleaning efficacy at par with conventional products and easy to use. Surprisingly, it has been found that an anionic surfactant comprising alkyl taurate and alkyl benzene sulphonate along with select water-soluble cellulose containing compound provides a stable flexible solid unit dose article. The article dissolves quickly in water and provide enhanced cleaning benefit. The present invention further describes a process of making the unit dose article and a process of providing a cleaning composition from the unit dose article.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a solid laundry composition. It particularly relates to a solid laundry composition having a desirable foam profile during the laundering process. It is thus an object of the present invention to provide a solid laundry composition which provides good foam profile. It is another object of the present invention to provide a solid laundry composition which provides good cleaning performance. The present inventors have found that a solid laundry composition having lowered levels of the alkyl aryl sulphonate surfactant when present in combination with specific surfactant combination surprisingly provides good foam formation in the wash stage while eliminating the foam quickly during the rinsing stage. This benefit was preferably found across different consumer washing habits and fabric types present in the wash load. It was further preferably found that the solid laundry composition according to the first aspect of the present invention provides for removing the foam in a single rinse cycle.

Abstract

The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions. More particularly, the present invention relates to a detergent sheet for providing a cleaning composition on dissolution. There is a need to provide an improved ‘eco-friendly’ detergent sheet having detergent adjuncts for delivering a cleaning efficacy at par with conventional products. It is found that a water-soluble polymer comprising a cellulose ether derivative and a swellable disintegrant having high water absorption ratio provides a stable ‘eco-friendly’ detergent sheet containing a sequestrant and surfactant. The sheet dissolves quickly in water and provides enhanced cleaning efficacy. Further it does not stick to each other on storage, thus easy to use. The present invention further describes a process of making the detergent sheet and a process of providing a cleaning composition from the detergent sheet.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of demonstrating a difference in texture of a skin area using either participants' own skin or substrates that mimic the properties of human skin after use of a skin care product. More particularly, it relates to a method that utilizes changes in brain waves measured using electroencephalography as generated by the individual's nervous system on touching the treated skin area. The method can also be used for demonstrating the superiority of one product over another in delivering texture benefits to skin.
