Abstract

The present invention relates to a solid laundry detergent composition containing ethoxylated nonionic surfactant. It is thus desired to provide a solid laundry detergent composition which provides for good cleaning performance and desired sensorial benefits. It has been surprisingly found that a solid laundry detergent composition having an anionic surfactant comprising sulphonate surfactant along with specific secondary alcohol based nonionic surfactant improves the stain removal performance and provides good greasy/oily stain removal performance, particularly in cold water conditions. It further provides overall detergency performance and provides whiteness maintenance on fabrics. Preferably the composition including an amphoteric surfactant.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of solid detergent composition, especially solid detergent agglomerated composition. The present inventors have found that when a solid detergent composition includes an agglomerate particle having a surfactant, silica, and alkali metal silicate then the composition provides an agglomerate detergent particle which has low bulk density having good powder sensorial. The powder is free flowing and maintains its free-flowing properties and is anticaking over extended storage periods. The agglomerate particle also has good powder color.

Abstract

The present invention relates to antiperspirant composition, particularly to antiperspirant composition having high levels of oil. The present inventors have found that when compositions having an unsaturated oil such as sunflower seed oil is present in the antiperspirant composition together with high total oil content present in the composition, the fabric which comes in contact with the composition in the axilla tends to get stained on repeated use. The present inventors have found that the problem of staining or yellowing of fabrics is significantly lowered when a combination of an alkoxylated aliphatic ether with an alkyl chain length of C3 to C10 and specific polyethylene glycol diester of fatty acid with chain length of C12 to C18 is used in an antiperspirant composition having high total oil content including unsaturated oil and an antiperspirant active.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an oral care composition. Particularly it relates to oral care composition having improved sensorials like flavour profile and foaming properties. It is desired to provide an oral care composition which exhibits improved foaming. It is also desired to provide improved flavour profile and flavour impact without necessary increasing the levels of the flavoring agent as this may increase the cost of the composition. The present inventors have found that an oral care composition having specific levels of thickening silica in combination with xanthan gum provides sensorial improvement. The composition was found to provide improved foaming performance and improved flavour release. According to a first aspect of the present invention disclosed is an oral care composition comprising a combination of xanthan gum and less than 8 wt.% thickening silica.

Abstract

The present invention relates to stable gel laundry detergent composition. Although several approaches at providing laundry gel composition which provide desired viscosity, good cleaning performance while maintaining desired sensorial properties and appearance have been known, it is still desired to provide improved laundry gel composition. The present inventors have found that by incorporating a balanced combination of alkali metal carbonate and a hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose, it is possible to provide a laundry gel composition with desired viscosity and good physical appearance and the gel composition also provides good cleaning performance.
